My husband and I stopped here for lunch on our recent trip to Kauaʻi, and the food was amazing, fresh, hot, and so good we ate every last bite!
Fair warning: the chickens at this food park are bold. We’ve been to Maui and Oʻahu and never had issues, but these chickens will jump on the table and go straight for your food. One even stole a French fry from my husband’s plate despite his best efforts to escape. A fellow diner confirmed, they are especially aggressive about fries.
Don’t let the chickens scare you off though, the food is WORTH IT! Just keep an eye on your plate (and your kids). We’ll definitely be back on our next vacation!

Absolutely amazing mahi-mahi fish tacos. And these pinto beans, I don’t even know what was in them, de’lish!. I wanted an extra portion of the magical fruit. Even the rice, and I know what you’re thinking “dude, it’s just Spanish rice”, but you take the half lime that they give you with your plate and squeeze it on top of that rice and the beans…hold on to your 4×4 Tacoma, gonna be some of the best rice and beans you ever had. Without putting in a whole lot of empirical data or cross analysis, this might be my favorite meal on the island, just sayin.

This was hands down the best poke on our entire trip. We tried four different poke places and this blew everybody out of the water. We went here four times because they were so great. The poke had the perfect amount of sauce to food ratio. The fish was very fresh and I love the giant cuts of onion.

We found this place on Google and it was delicious! It’s a great place to eat adjacent to the ocean. I got the fish tacos that were out of this world and hubby got the shrimp tacos. Said they were also delicious. They had Coca-Cola which also gave them bonus points in my book and brought our tacos to us at the picnic tables. Also bonus was they were open at 1030am as we were hungry!!!

Had an incredible time at Tony’s Catch. Caesar was so welcoming and helped guide us on their menu. Can’t recommend them enough. If you’re visiting Kauai, Tony’s Catch is a MUST!

– poke bowl 8.5/10: fish was solid. nothing super special about it though. koloa fish market is top tier. this was better than konohiki though
– shrimp tacos 8.5/10: chipotle cream pretty gas. fried super well. but nothing that wowed us. would come back. bye.

The fish tacos are absolutely outstanding, and the fish and chips also. The fries are incredible. This is legit a 5 star hidden pearl and the service was quick and so friendly. Their seating is so cute hidden back from the road and right near the beach. We came right off our flight and by the time we’d finished lunch we felt our holiday already couldn’t get better than this! Their house made hot sauce is unreal.
