So, this is a small cute cafe vibe. Great music playing, but not too loud. Went with my mom and stepdad. He ordered the BLTE, she ordered an omelette, and I ordered the Mexican breakfast burrito. We all agreed that everything was extremely delicious. When I bit into my burrito, my eyes crossed as I made the enjoyment face. And let me just tell you, their portions are pretty big. Mom’s omelette was massive and my burrito was a good size too, WITH a serving of cubed potatoes as a side. We will DEFINITELY be back. Also, while we waited, we watched everyone else get their food and EVERYTHING brought to the tables around us looked freaking amazing and mouth watering.

We came here kind of by accident while looking for breakfast, and all three of us were completely blown away.

I’m an American and I’ll be honest — this didn’t taste like any “Mexican” food I’ve had before in the U.S. The food was spicy, deeply flavorful, and tasted genuinely homemade. Nothing felt “out of a box,” watered down, or adjusted for a Tex-Mex palate. It was just really, really good food.

We had breakfast, and even that felt different in the best way. The flavors had depth and heat without being overwhelming. And the Bloody Marys were awesome — easily some of the best I’ve had, not an afterthought at all.

You can tell this place is cooking with pride and tradition. And I really appreciated the nod to the Golden Age of Mexican Hollywood on the walls — a small detail, but it showed respect for culture and history. We stumbled into it, but we’ll absolutely be coming back.

The food was amazing!
My only issue was with my bill cash payment. I did not receive my change back I guess the server took it as tip without me saying so.

While I planned to leave a tip anyway, I believe it’s important for servers to return all change, as the tip amount is the client’s decision.

I was nice and I let it go this time, but other than that, everything was fantastic.

First time but definitely not the last!! Where to even start…. The staff are so friendly, the restaurant is welcoming, and fast service! The BEST Bloody Mary I have ever had! The food was amazingly delicious, fresh and flavorful. This is definitely one of Smyrna’s best of the best! If you haven’t tried this spot… run and bring your appetite! Open Tuesday-Sunday 7am-3pm.

It was a good atmosphere and good food. The only thing was the omelet I ordered had mostly unseasoned potatoes in it and not enough meat and cheese. It was good though, because of the mole sauce at the bottom. But it would’ve been better with seasoning and meat. I should’ve got the chilaquiles. Next time I’ll try that.

Tony’s Cafe, what a perfect hidden gem! The Mexican Breakfast Burrito was amazing, perfect amount of everything. I loved the minced veggies and everything else was diced so every bite was delicious. The omelet was humongous and served on top of mole –which was stunning. There’s also a fresh, homemade empanada station where you can watch that magic happen. Seemed like the food was prepared using great grandmother’s best recipes. Obsessed.

Tony’s is amazing! I love their breakfast food and the coffee is perfect! My favorite item is the Tres Leches French Toast and a side of bacon! The traditional breakfast is a great deal too! And my brother raves about the Breakfast Trio (3 mini breakfast burritos with different meats). I’ve come twice this week and I’ll definitely be back soon!
