The atmosphere is nice, very rustic and old-school. I was really excited about trying this place visiting Houston. I was let down a lot by the fact that all of my food is cold. All of the meat is cold and the sides are barely warm plus the brisket has no bark on it. He cut off the end where there was literally no outside crust on the brisket. Very Bland!! altogether not a bad place to eat, but for the price it’s really lacking in quality paid $40 for what’s in the picture. Also, the menus that are posted on Google maps are old and outdated. The prices have increased significantly.

If u bath ur meat in bbq then u might like it, true good bbq doesn’t need bbq sauce, this one did, ribs didn’t not have no flavor either did the chicken, chicken tastes more like if it was baked and not really on a smoker, got a side of coleslaw and its was 8/10 tasted so fresh and it was rllly good, one of the cooks was passing by and checked up on me rlly nice on that, sides did look good as well for the meats just the lack of flavor its what made me not to 3+. Will i come again? Maybe only if im down the street and hungry but will it be on my list as to go to no.

We had the brisket and rib dinners. Being from St. Loius, I have definitely had better, but for the price, these dinners were plentiful and very good. The one thing I wasn’t too fond of was the BBQ sauce, and this is just a matter of individual taste. I think it would be nice to offer a few different flavors of BBQ sauce. We were the only customers in the dining area. That could have been because we went there on a rainy weekday night, and I think this place is more of a lunch place. It is a cafeteria style place. Overall, I would recommend eating here.

The atmosphere is Texas BBQ. The place was clean and the seating comfortable and service was good. We had a full rack of ribs, 1lb of brisket and 1 lb of sausage & 2 drinks for $90, a fair price. The food was fantastic! It did sadden me to see that brisket fat tossed away though! Render that fat down to make beef tallow and sell it or cook with it. I will definitely return when I’m back in Houston. Thank you for the great tasting meat!

Cafeteria style BBQ food. Stand out here was the baked beans. Brisket was a little chewy, in my opinion, I expected it to be a little more tender. BBQ sauce was tasty though! And the service is really good!

The bbq sauce is bussin. The chocolate pie is to die for. The Mac n cheese is good. The brisket was tender and smoky. They gave huge portions. I could feed 2 ppl with my plate. Fried okra was good too. The peach cobbler could’ve been a little sweeter but overall 5 stars!

Stopped in while in town. Very tasty BBQ, good sides. Like the atmosphere, has a good gritty bbq vibe! Cafeteria style service so that’s the only reason it got a 3.
