Wow. Like a time capsule. Jukeboxes at each table with 80’s music, and only take quarters. Prices are great. Portions large. Fantastic old school antipasto salad. Good pizza. On the other side of the restaurant is a bar that is open 24 hrs per day. The patrons did not look seedy, but more like locals, having a good time (think Cheers.) Overall, an iconic place that is worth the visit.

The historic restaurant is located in Atlantic City, New Jersey. They prepare Italian cuisine and are open 24 hours. It was established in 1927 and is casual. They have separate rooms for the bar and dining section. The prices are very good. I ordered and recommend the various pizza options. The spaghetti and meatballs are well-prepared. Friendly and helpful staff.

Nice Roadside Bar is a fabulous spot for a late-night drink or a quick bite. The menu is simple with limited options, but the food is very good, tasty, and definitely value for money. The service was excellent too—special thanks to the lovely lady who served us.

This place is a great old school joint! Came highly recommended by a friend so we checked it out. From the atmosphere to the service to the food, everything was great. A little loud, but in a good way; place was hopping for a weeknight. If you’re in AC looking for classic, no frills Italian, check out Tony’s Baltimore Grill. Good food, good prices and a fun lively vibe.

If you love Atlantic City, then you got to love Tony’s. Classic mozzarella sticks came hot and good. But it was the traditional handmade meatballs that were the star of the show. I was avoiding carbs so I compromised with sweet potato instead of pasta but the fries were good too. They’re better if you eat in then if you DoorDash like I did.

I haven’t been here in 15 years. I finally had a chance to stop when I was visiting family in NJ. It hasn’t changed, and I love it that way. Tony’s can be somewhat polarizing in reviews, but I am one of the people who still loves this place. The bread was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The mushroom and sausage pizza was exactly how I remembered it. Very hot, very fresh, and tasty. The staff was great and attentive. I’ll be back next year with one of my annual visits.

The atmosphere and service was fine. Nothing to write home about though. The food was pretty terrible. The portions are way too small. The salad was supposed to be for two people and it definitely wasn’t and the “sausage platter” was three small sausages doused in what tasted like canned sauce. The sausages were equally as unimpressive. All I could taste were the giant pepper corns in them. We got a “double order” of fries and again it seemed like a normal single order you’d get somewhere else. I’m gluten free (by choice) and there are no options other than the salad/sausage so stay away from this place if gluten is an issue. My daughter had the pizza and she didn’t like it. I don’t understand the hype around the place at all. Will not be returning any time soon.

Nice place, it was quite on a Wednesday evening. Food was great. Though to me the meatballs needed more flavor but once I missed it with the spaghetti it was great.

Ok so to be clear, the ambience is cool to me. It’s a nearly 100 year old establishment and you can feel the history, but if you are expecting something more modern you should be prepared for something legit historical.
My wife and kids LOVES the pizzas they got. I tried a few bites and enjoyed it too .
I got a meatball parm, the bread was great and the sandwich met expectations.
The service was friendly with suggestions for our next visits too.

I really love the atmosphere. Old-school places are dying off. It’s nice to see that they did their best to keep it the same. Food is great too! I just wish the Jukebox was working on the table. My kids were fascinated with it.
