So we ordered the family meal of fried chicken comes with 10 pieces of chicken 2 sides and 8 cornbread for 30 dollars. The chicken was crunchy good flavor and moist. The fries where ok. The mashed potatoes where soooo good had to order a side of brown gravy and it was soooo good. Now the corn bread was amazing the best part my child is picky and doesn’t like cornbread but he ate 4 pieces. Ordered a side of green beans and collard greens the green beans are good the collard greens where ok. The service was good.

Omg. This is the best food we have had since visiting Texas. Our friends have been living in Texas close to the border for a few months and they said it was the best they had since living here. We ordered food to go. Love me some southern home cooked food. I owned one back where I live. You have to stop by. The prices are reasonable as well.

Fried chicken and mashed potatoes were great. I had pecan pie afterward, which was also very pleasant. The collard greens were overly salty and tasted like they came out of a can, I don’t recommend that side. Waitress was very attentive and nice.

We hit San Antonio up and everyone raves about the restaurants on the Riverwalk. NAAAHHH show me where my Peeps are‼️ SOUL FOOD is what I am in search of‼️ Tony G’s didn’t disappoint. My Bestie and I agreed we should have hit them up the first day and everyday of our visit. They made us feel at home and like Family as we asked questions about everything on the menu. I had the catfish with cheese grits, the home potatoes was BUSTIN‼️Also had the chicken wings as an add on (don’t judge me) So Good and reasonable prices‼️This is my spot whenever I am in San Antonio. I was visiting San Antonio Tx for my aunts 90th birthday with family from Minnesota. Really good breakfast and price. Sunday buffet $30 was the bomb. Breakfast, southern food, jumbo shrimp carving station and dessert. Well worth the price. Do recommend visiting if you’re from out of town. Props to the owner and staff made you feel like family. Definitely will return to visit.

Welcoming environment with kind staff checking in on you every once in awhile. The place feels alive with staff talking in the back having a good time, you can feel they appreciate each other and that love translates to the service and food. The food came out quickly, hot and fresh. Overall a feel good place I’d recommend.

Food was outstanding! Best breakfast I have eaten in a restaurant in a long time. Food was made with lots of flavor and good portions so come hungry. The service was a little bit slow but not bad at all. Our server was very friendly and accommodating. Atmosphere is rich and vibrant with the staff as well as with the decor. My family came to San Antonio for an impromptu mini vacation during 4th of July. We found this gem. The good was delicious. I had the shrimp and grits and my daughter had the gumbo. I tried my husband’s sides and everything tasted homemade. The greens, yams, and cornbread.

I came for Sunday brunch and it’s buffet style. Let me tell you something Linda, the food was A1! Everything was flavorful and fresh!
The service was good and the ambiance was amazing. They had a live band playing and they were great!
There’s plenty of parking and it not too loud or too packed. It was just right. They clear the tables quickly and it’s very clean.
I loved the black joy in the building along the welcoming approach for everyone!
