Founded by the Gambino Family in 1972, it was originally known as Figaro’s Pizza. Our celebrated family recipe hails from Palermo, Sicily. After becoming a staple on the east coast, the hand-tossed legacy lives on in Minnesota. Our first Tono location, in Maplewood, opened in 2019. Our second location, in Saint Paul, opened in 2020. This is our third location, and we are very excited to be part of the Coon Rapids community! To pay homage to our history, we built another beautiful brick-oven to add a unique flavor to our pies. We invite you to come have a taste of tradition!

Came here tonight for the first time, and let me say, the pizza is amazing. The flavors are awesome – perfect crust (just the right amount of chewiness), fresh toppings. They also have cups of balsamic, which was also really good.
We also got a cheesesteak. And it was fine. I don’t know if I’m just not a big fan of cheesesteaks (I’ve only had them a couple times), but I thought it was only okay / a little dry. The pizza was the star for me. However, they also have a number of delicious sauces: Garlic aioli, BBQ aioli, buffalo aioli, and a hot honey ranch. Adding that certainly provided some extra creaminess and flavor.
I will most certainly be back. Especially on a Tuesday, where I saw they have a BOGO deal.

Where’s the CHEESE???!!!! It’s supposed to be a cheesesteak sandwich! I really wanted to like this place as I’ve only heard good things. The flavor was good and there was cheese, just not very much of it so as you took a bite all the insides would crumble out of the sandwich.
Also, one of the bathrooms soap dispenser was broken (confirmed by an employee) and there was no alternative soap provided. So, of course my mind runs to are employees washing there hands before they go back to work? I originally didn’t use the bathroom with the working soap dispenser because there was no toiletpaper in that one and ended up playing musical bathrooms (so to speak) to get my hands clean.
Not sure if I would give this location another shot.

I was expecting a nice, decent salad, but this blew my mind!
I ordered the Burrata Pesto Salad with chicken – the chicken was so delicious, the burrata was amazing, and everything in the salad was so fresh and flavorful.
But my favorite part? The bread. I still think about it! It’s absolutely divine. I thought it would be plain and hard, but it ended up being perfectly crunchy and delicious.
Staff is super friendly and the areas are clean.
Highly recommend!

Always stellar service and food and every Tono’s Pizza location. You must try the Truffle Parm Fries for sure! And on Tuesdays they have a BOGO on any pizza!!!!!!! OMG… Im there again next week. Definitely recommend

First time we have ordered from Tono’s. We loved the pizza. It was cold when my husband got it home, (not a fault of the restaurant) so we nuked it up a little bit. We thought the flavor of the toppings and texture of the crust were spot on. We will be returning in the future.

I have never had a bad experience here. Brick oven pizza made to order, each specialty delicious in it’s own way (my favorite is the Goodfella, a pesto chicken bacon pie), and the best gluten free crust my wife and I have found for her anywhere. The buy one pizza and drink, get one of each free deal every Tuesday is an incredible value, and the variety of toppings in a simple menu of pizza, cheese steak, fries and salads keeps things from getting out of hand for the staff, meaning your order comes correct, while also giving you an extensive list of things to come back and try. Hands down, favorite pizza place I’ve been to, bar none. No wonder they’ve grown from about 2 or 3 locations when we started coming here to 8 or 9 now.

I feel like I want to vomit. My wife got a cheese steak and fries. In the sandwich, right in the middle, looked like something that shouldn’t be there. I pulled it out and shook the “meat” off it, and it was some sort of very tough rubbery chunk with tubes on it. It very much resembled a octopus. I know it sounds crazy, but thats what it looks like. See the picture. She at half of the sandwich before I saw it. I am SOOO grossed out. I mean, what the heck IS THAT??? sure as hell isn’t “meat”.

The place is awesome. We had lunch there at 11. It was about full when we finished and boxed our leftovers after dining in. We had the Tuesday special BOGO pizza and beverage. Quite a deal imo. Had a Spicy Tono, and a Primo. They were both excellent and the crust was delicious. Done perfectly. Kinda folded them New York ish like. Fork shmork. Everything was great. We’ll be back. Thanks… went back for a Goodfella, which was some awesome sweet goodness! The Primo was tasty as ever. Thanks again.
