Excellent, Excellent place! I over ordered the minute we sat down. I didnt expect the portion sizes to be what they were. I’ve ordered german pretzels at a number of places but I was not expecting it to take up an entire lunch tray. The beer cheese that was served with it was incredible.
Not a pricey place either. For the amount of food I received it was a bargain
Had the German meatballs, Rahm schnitzel, 3 wurst platter, pierogies, sauerkraut bites, and kaespatzle mac and cheese.
There wasnt a single thing that wasn’t awesome. My first time here and I will be back. It has a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and good beer selections.
This is making it to my top 5 german restaurants and for atmosphere its in the top 5 of all restaurants…
Then food came out quickly and you can tell everything was freshly prepared.
10/10

Had a great meal and tried some new brews! Sat at the bar, the bartender was very knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable! He helped us make beer and food choices which were both a hit! Will definitely come back!

Liked the food, didn’t love it. Seemed a little more expensive than it’s worth. We had to try the Beef Wellington (Seasonal only). That was the main reason we came to try this restaurant. I felt that it was not Chef Ramsay level. Might go back again, would like to try more on the menu. Would try the “wellie” again, but we have to wait for December again, maybe it was just an off-night in the Kitchen, who knows. Again, wasn’t super impressed for the price we paid.

Das Essen ist köstlich! We stopped by late on the night the Phillies lost in the playoffs so we had the place to ourselves. Lucky us! The service was friendly and prompt. Must get the hot pretzel- it is huge and the best we’ve ever had! All the food was great and lots of good beers! Enjoyed so much we came back the last Saturday in October. Place was packed and had a long wait but it was worth it! Save room for dessert and get the apple strudel-yum!Highly recommend

Nice German restaurant. Waiters and Waitresses are all very enthusiastic. Pork cutlet is especially tasty among all the food. Will try the patio dining area next time!

Came by to check this place out. All of the appetizers were delicious, we ordered the super big pretzel and split it all to the table. Perogi’s were fantastic and we could not complain. Ordered the wurst platter and a jager schnitzel. Gave me a great impression of German food. The wurst was super snappy and the schnitzel was crispy and delightful. Drinks is great, had the Pat’s Punch and will get to you if you have one too many.
Our server was fantastic, I forget his name but it was a young gentleman, and he is super accommodating and was very attentive to each person in the party.
Everything was very delicious and would come back again.

Awesome German food with a family flare! Portions are large and the Snapper Soup reminds me of the Old Bookbinder’s on Second Street ! It’s Amazing! The Beef Wellington is worth the drive/wait/served only in December! Mark your calendar kinda never miss meal! That being said the venue is dated and could use some updateimg but the price point kinda makes you forget that. They change the special menu often and keep the favorites. Multiple beers on tap, which also change. We will be back OFTEN!
