Founded by the Gambino Family in 1972, it was originally known as Figaro’s Pizza. Our celebrated family recipe hails from Palermo, Sicily. After becoming a staple on the east coast, the hand-tossed legacy lives on in Minnesota. Our first Tono location, in Maplewood, opened in 2019. Our second location, in Saint Paul, opened in 2020. The third, in Coon Rapids, opened in 2021. This is our fourth location, and we are ecstatic to be part of, and to serve, the Woodbury community! To pay homage to our history, we built another beautiful brick-oven to add a unique flavor to our pies. We invite you to come have a taste of tradition!

I went back and ordered to go — what a disappointment. I got something completely different from the first time I visited. Consistency is key in a restaurant, and this was just disrespectful. I ordered the South Philly, and it only had cheese and a small amount of meat — not much at all. On top of that, it was drenched in sauce. Very disappointing! They also tossed in just a few soggy fries. I might give it another try someday, but for now, I’m definitely lowering my rating to one star.
The place is great, and the food is really good. The flavors are delicious. However, it should be cleaner, especially when there aren’t many customers. They need to keep the tables clean so new customers can sit down. Additionally, it would be better if the staff wore gloves while making the pizza. The workers were touching everything: the register, the money, and then they went straight to making the pizza without washing their hands or putting on gloves. Ironically, right after finishing the pizza, one of the workers washed his hands. Maintaining a clean environment is essential for bringing customers back, so it’s very important.

I got a Philly cheese steak Supreme combo. There were barely any fries! I should’ve checked before leaving. I’ve seen the staff sneaking fries in their mouths in the back. They probably keep the fries for themselves and give the customers barely what they pay for. I want my money back!

I had a taste for a cheese steak, and my wife loves their burrata salad. Excellent assortment of sauces and convenient hours makes this one of our go-to semi fast food options. What made our last visit special was the manager gave us a bonus pizza that someone ordered but was an extra. We now had a ton of food but really great pizza and am thankful for getting to try it as one of the best in the area. The worst part of going back is deciding on what to order as it’s all great!

Came in on Tuesday night to get the buy one get one and was blown away. The line was out the door and I thought about going somewhere else at first but got through the line surprisingly quickly and ordered. Then it only took about 20 mins until the pizzas were ready they were delicious. This place deserves your business.

Just like all the other locations, this restaurant is amazing. They have a really great and friendly and helpful staff, and all the food here taste just as delicious as all their other locations. I came here today because they were doing an amazing $10 pizza deal, I would recommend signing up to their email list because there are a lot of deals that you would not find out about otherwise. I also took my father here and he enjoyed a cheesesteak, he got the supreme, and everyone is very happy. If you are coming here, make sure to stock upon the different types of sauces while you eat your food, so you can try all the unique and delicious flavors. One of my favorite places for a sandwich or a pizza, make sure you check it out if you’re in Woodberry or any of their other locations.

The first time we have been here and the best pizza and caprese we have had in a long time! We have been searching all over for a pizza that my daughter, wife, and I would like. As soon as we walked in we felt like family and we’re greeted so nicely! The gentleman at the register made it easy for my wife to order what she wanted, and she felt so happy she wasn’t rushed! Definitely will be bringing my family here for a long time! Will also be recommending this place to everyone! Customer service is a HUGE thing for me and they went above and beyond! The Quality of Food is great across all the Tono locations I’ve visited! Love The supreme with Cheese Whiz! The Spicy Tono and pineapple express pizzas are great too! Always get them cooked crispy! Keep it up Tono Crew!

Always delicious! My husband loves the Philly sandwiches! I also really appreciate that they have plant based meat for their sandwiches and it is super tasty! I enjoy the margherita pizza! Lately my obsession has been with their salads! The walnut salad is very good, but we had the burratta salad last night and it was amazing. we will be back many more times. I feel like the secret of Tono’s greatness is out in Woodbury and it is super busy now. But the food still came out very quickly and the staff are great.
