ZERO ENGAGEMENT. I don’t like to leave bad reviews but I’m Pretty disappointed about our experience here. Not a single staff member was engaging or even seemed happy to be there. The food was tasty. But like someone else said, there is absolutely no show. Which, for safety fair I guess, but their website should reflect that. Instead it says “high energy” and “engaging” .False advertising. Not even the waitress smiled. Would just get takeout here, don’t go for the “experience” .

Not a good place at all, Loyola was not very nice. Not mean but just so blah. The food was not good the noodles are literally spaghetti noodles with soy sauce… the sushi was bad and the calamari is insanely expensive and not good as well. Will never be back ♀️

There is NO SHOW at this Hibachi.
The only time the Cook spoke to us was to answer my questions about why there was no Fire Show.
There’s no show because someone got burned in the past and they don’t want to be sued.
The food was bland.
I think the noodles were Spaghetti with Raunch Dressing.
No Yum Yum sauce, Raunch Dressing.
The staff/service was awesome.
Unfortunately, there was nothing here that makes me want to go back. 🙁

I shouldn’t pick this place for our lunch. I’ll never come back. I got a dirty menu with some leftover sticky rice on it. Thanks to this place I had the worst ramen I’ve ever had. Don’t order miso ramen here. $15 for just soup and noodle without anything. Not worthy. I had to add house salad for some vegetables and there’s no cherry tomatoes in the salad. The service of my waitress is very good and that’s the only happy thing dinning here.

I took my wife for our anniversary the food was amazing the white sause made it pop server was verry nice kept a constant check on us made sure we had refills i wil definitely eat there again

The Food is great and comparable to any large city Japanese restaurant. A treat in any small town like Glasgow. The service could definitely be improved with a friendly staff. Not really rude just no smiles and seemed like they’d rather be fishing lol. The hibachi cook was super noisy banging the utensils attempting to make some sort of music. Strange and very loud. It kept going on and on to the point of us wanting to be re-seated. The great food makes up for the mediocre service and atmosphere. Will retun for sure.

Today we decided to take our friend out for a Japanese meal and to celebrate my son’s girlfriend’s Birthday, along with my Granddaughter! Service was quick and Wonderful. Food was Amazing! Never a bad experience at Shoguns!

Good food, minus one mix up on my steak… but the fillet mignon was delicious. Only complaint is the music, not very fitting for a Japanese Resturant. Throws off the ambiance. But for a small town, it might be a stretch to have Japanese style music.
