Yummy! We enjoyed the gyozachos. It was a creative blend of flavors. The beef brisket dry noodles was delicious. We liked the hand rolled salmon. The strawberry crepe cake was scrumptious. The service was fast, friendly, and efficient. We will be back!

Finally found a good spot for ramen. The Tonkatsu had a very flavorful broth, surprisingly well flavored egg (best I’ve ever had), the pork was thick and had great seared marbling of fat (yum!), and I loved the addition of beans sprouts (perfect fresh element.) I have already planned an event to bring a group of friends with me the next time. So happy I found my new ramen spot after moving to the area last year. I have had so much bad ramen since moving here I was beginning to worry.

The service was great. The waiter was very attentive, and I enjoyed getting to thank the chef personally.

Definitely want to try the Banana Fritter with Mancha Ice Cream from the sushi side of the menu next time. It looked so good.

Okay… so I want there on recommendation of a friend… I’m not sure what they were thinking. DO NOT RECOMMEND… The ramen was the saving grace here… the hand rolls are expensive and the smallest I’ve seen… tasted like canned tuna… I could make better hand rolls…NOT worth it in the department. The Ramen was good. Not real warm… in fact, somehow, the eggs were COLD… presentation of food was good, but the whole place stunk worse than a fish market in summer! It was very smelly and didn’t seem all that clean…

Went over the weekend for dinner and ordered ramen, curry, hand rolls, and gyozachos for appetizer.
The appetizer was missing ingredients and did not taste good. the server gave no indication they could not serve alcohol until the 3rd time they asked if we were ready to order drinks (we were waiting on our last member of the party to order)
The ramen was ok, but the egg was cold. The curry was not the correct thickness, it was not mixed, and made the rice soggy and inedible within the 10 minutes we were eating
2/4 hand rolls had NO FISH and this was a togo item for a sick member at home, which we notified the server about at the start of our meal- they were all falling apart when we received them in plates, and had to box them up ourselves

Now for the restaurant itself-the restaurant reeked of bleach. I am allergic and the smell was so strong, I broke out in hives and had a difficult time breathing by the end of my meal – if that was the sanitizer there is no way it is safe – test your sanitizer!!!

Our server was kind, but did not inform us of the service charge for using a card, the lack of alcohol, the fact sushi could not be packaged to go, and was not attentive to our needs. Overall extremely bad experience and we will continue going to jinya for ramen!!

This was a quiet spot and not very busy when we arrived, although it was on a Sunday and close to closing time. Nice restaurant. Staff was super formerly and inviting. I tried the WTF is wrong ramen, and not only was it unique, it tasted equally as amazing! We also got gyoza, and they were fried perfectly. Overall, this was a great experience, and the food tasted amazing!

WOW I have never had WORSE ramen! Broth was bland and salty at the same time. Ordered a Katsu cutlet and it was stringy and hard inside with no flavor. The Charsu pork bun was HARD as a rock no pillow fluffiness like it’s supposed to be .

We love the ramen here!

The tantanmen ramen is especially good but I like to get it with chicken katsu instead of pork belly and ground pork. The katsu curry ramen is another favorite as well as the curry and chicken katsu but be sure to get it with a side of kimchi.

The restaurant itself is a vibe. I love the lighting and murals.

It wasn’t very busy on a Friday evening, which is a shame because this is the best ramen house we have found in the valley.

At least it was quiet and we have never had to wait for a table.

Delicious food and great service. Highly recommend the Tonkatsu Ramen and Tonkatsu rice plate. Dinning room is a little small.

Clean facilities and friendly service.

Tonkatsu Ramen Bar and Tonkatsu Shabu Shabu are separate but connected on the inside.

Give this place a try, you won’t be disappointed.

The cravings for ramen usually start on a cold morning, particularly against the snowy mountain backdrop of SLC this time of year.

And the Tonkotsu was solid. Great portions, no complaints there, it was alright.

However… The pork belly bun to accompany the soup left a lot to be desired. The bun was… Tough, almost leathery. The bun! How is that possible? And the presentation was lackluster. Could use some QA on the food in that regard.

Other than that, service was good, and although there were limited beverage options, it’s alright. The place looks new and modern too.
