Toni’s Ice Cream is a long-standing favorite in the Adamston area of Clarksburg, and it’s easy to see why. This local gem offers both walk-up counter service and a drive-thru option. There’s plenty of outdoor seating with umbrella-covered tables and four covered picnic tables—great for families or just enjoying a summer treat. The space felt clean and had that authentic hometown vibe.
Pro tip: The drive-thru was extremely busy during my visit. We parked and walked up to the counter, ordered, and were already enjoying our ice cream before a nearby car in the drive-thru even reached the window. If you can, skip the drive-thru and head to the counter for faster service.
Atmosphere: 4/5 – Classic small-town ice cream stand with lots of outdoor seating and local charm.
Service: 3/5 – The young woman at the counter got the job done quickly, but she wasn’t very welcoming. A little friendliness would have gone a long way.
Food: 4/5 – The ice cream here really impressed me. I tried the Blackberry Cobbler Flurry, which is similar to a Blizzard at Dairy Queen—but more unique. It was original, packed with flavor, and honestly worth the trip on its own. I’d definitely go back just for that!
Overall, Toni’s Ice Cream is a popular local spot with solid offerings. Despite the lukewarm service, the quality of the ice cream and the community feel make it a place I’d recommend—and return to.

Tried visiting a few times over the last week. Both times they were out of a ton of ingredients with no idea when it would be restocked. The employee said it had been like that for weeks. I would suggest posting something to their social media page warning new potential customers or people who frequent the establishment.
Response to your reply:
I checked google prior to going to your business. It showed open with no warnings. I then checked your Facebook which didn’t mention you were closed. It would be helpful to update those pages.

Ice cream is so good. Food not available Sunday or after 8PM. Was so busy we had to leave. The first time we came there was only 4 cars so it only took 20 min to get in and out. Yesterday, Sunday, Walk up line was about 20 people and drive thru had 10 cars so we waited about 20 min then left. They were doing about 1 walk up and one car every 3-5 minutes so if we stayed I estimated about one hour before we would have had our order taken. I don’t know why their service is so bad because they are an established fan favorite. It’s hard to park because of drive thru line. Park behind in shopping lot and walk over. Fried pickles were a bit soft and soggy. I ate them anyway because I love fried pickles. I wouldn’t order them again. They really need to move locations to a place where they can double their staff and service more people at once. Today I tried to come back and it was still pretty busy but not as bad as yesterday. Got in and out in 30 min thru drive thru with about 5 cars a head of me. I will be back because this is the only place I know of here like it.

I love their root beer float. Decently sized but although sometimes there’s a little less root beer in the drink. Overall good spot.

Never had the food here, but to me this is an ice cream place. Which I recommend them. If your hungry eat at the Clarksburg pizza company right beside Toni’s. Pizza there was hot & crispy!

Old Fashion Split terrible Maybe just maybe a very thin layer of soft serve hidden under three dollops of whipped cream. Yes the banana, wet walnuts and caramel included. Nothing like the menu picture. Come on guys you can do better.

The service is a little slow. There are probably better places close by. If you have the time though, Tony’s is a good ice cream shop.

Their small is a LARGE. Their Ice cream is smooth and creamy. Honestly it’s my favorite ice cream shop. Anytime I’m in the state and they are open I stop by my kids really enjoy it plus it keeps them quiet and content for some time

I’ve had ice cream from Toni’s before. One great things about Toni’s is it still operates like the old fashioned walk up restaurant that we don’t see around anymore.
