My husband and I decided to try Cheryl’s the Friday before Valentines day. We were not disappointed! The steaks were perfection! Our whole meal was enjoyable, service and atmosphere was easy and relaxed. I did smell a little smoky after leaving, but in the best way, like after you leave a bonfire. Not sure why it took us so long to try Cheryl’s out, but we finally made it in, and we are so glad we did!

Food was excellent. We got the 13 oz ribeye and the half rack of ribs with the loaded baked potatoes and green beans. Green beans have a nice kick to them. Steak was melt in your mouth. Ribs were great. The restaurant doesn’t have steak sauce or bbq sauce. That’s fine you don’t need it. Atmosphere is family oriented. Place was clean.

My husband and I traveled from Pensacola on my birthday just to try this steakhouse after finding it on TikTok, and it was 100% worth it! The flavor and texture of the ribeye were superb—perfectly cooked and incredibly tender. The fried mushrooms were delicious, and the loaded baked potato was absolutely amazing.
Dessert did not disappoint either—the chocolate cake is to die for, and the banana pudding is very good, rich and comforting. Everything exceeded expectations, and I’m so glad we made the trip. Highly recommend!

Expect a short wait when you arrive, but its well worth it. Everyone was very friendly. The place was packed, and everyone was absolutely on the ball with keeping people happy and fed. I travel the country for work and have eaten at dozens of dofferent toes of steakhouses and I can absolutely say that this place rates at the top of my list of favorites. Cheryl’s daughter was on the grill by herself an absolutely slayed it! There were multiple large tables when I was there and everyone’s food was delivered quickly and together.
I had a ribeye, green beans and potato soup. Everything was delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly and needed nothing added to it. The char and flavor were amazing! The soup and beans were also top notch.
I look forward to coming here the next time im in the area.

Drove 2 hours to try this place worst steak I’ve ever had wife said her steak was bad also she ordered well done came out with blood in it .no flavor at all. Green beans was nasty. Had a twang to them. Only good thing tea was really good. Baked potato was really good. Would not suggest anyone wasting their money at this place.

If you are a true steak lover then you can truly appreciate this restaurant. Everyone is also very friendly and almost remembers every customer’s name. Every time I introduce this restaurant to others they become permanent customers. I have been going here for many years and always been satisfied. Like they say ” you don’t need steak sauce !!! “

I have never had a wrong order and I always received my food in a timely manner – you are always greeted by staff and my beverage never gets low. Even if for some reason you are not satisfied just get with the staff and they will try everything to make your visit right. The restaurant is always clean and the smell of that wood pit makes you hungry.

My first time stopping in at Cheryl’s. Make sure you get there early, because the place fills up quick. They do have a pager system to let you know when a table is ready, or to come in to pick up a to go order. But the food is worth it! No wonder it’s been voted the #1 steakhouse on the coast. CJ, my server, was fantastic. As busy as they all were, she made sure to check on me several times. I will definitely be back next time that I’m down on the coast.

I was recommended this restaurant by Caleb, he told me if we didn’t get there before opening time 5 pm , we would have to wait outside. We arrived at 455pm and there were only 2 tables left. lol, he was right, however, before I went in, I decided to take a picture And was photo bombed by the owner Cheryl. She came outside to greet us and I told her we were visiting from New Jersey. She brought us inside and gave us her last available table for two. Julie was our server, and she was excellent. I ordered a steak smothered, It came with mushrooms and onions on top. A baked potato with sour cream and chives, fresh string beans And a mason jar filled with sweet iced tea with a lemon on the side. The food was excellent. I will be thinking about that steak and potatoes until I can visit Ocean Springs Mississippi again until next time Cheryl, your restaurant has all the ingredients for a long lasting successful business.

The place is decent. The food….. well the steak was very delicious and seasoned, with the smokey flavor, to the point that you don’t need any steak sauce . However, it was mid rare (still delicious though, highly prefer medium) The cheese curds bust in your mouth with flavor. Ribs, not fall off the bone but on point with flavor .Potato soup, the the fla the flavor kinda remind me of sour cream and onion Lays Potato Chips with cheese . Baked potato and green beans were decent (mid) and the sautéed mushrooms delicious. Overall, a great place for steak. Heads-up, no steak sauce at this place and get there early to avoid long wait times
