Full disclosure, I haven’t eaten here in almost 14 years. But I think about this restaurant a lot. I was a college student living in Walters and going to school at MSU. I may very well have been one of the few other Asian people in town at the time. The family at Tongs was always so kind to me. Genuinely good people who deserves way more than they receive, and yet manage to do a whole lot with what they have. Kinda like the town of Walters itself.
The food tastes like they invited you into your home and grabbed you a plate. Nothing fancy, just good food served with real warmth — the kind of big chains try to imitate.

Me and my daughter travel south to Dallas to north Tulsa for Chinese and everywhere in between and this is the best sesame chicken we’ve found for 10 years or more. We live an hour away but my mom is only about 15 minutes away. So we come here at least once a month or more. It’s amazing aside from the chicken teriyaki. I always go for dinner right as they open and only once in the 10 times or so has the teriyaki chicken been fresh. The other times it has been old and hard. When it’s fresh, it’s great. But it’s rarely fresh. I think they use the chicken teriyaki that’s left over from lunch. The rest is great. I plan to go next week for lunch so it’s all fresh.

I love coming here. It’s definitely one of my families go to places. They almost always recognize and remember our order. My toddler is such a ridiculously picky eater, but can down their chicken and noodles. My baby can’t get enough of their egg rolls. It’s just so quick and easy. I love these sweet people and their food.

Wonderful food at a great price. We got the buffet to go, and grabbed a half price drink and Sonic and ate there. Highly recommend the wantons and dumplings. The sesame chicken is great, as well as the noodles. Family of five at for $31 before a generous tip. I’ve also known this family for years, since before they were in Walters, and feel good supporting them and their business! Great family!

Terrific! Out in the middle of Oklahoma prairie, this Chinese restaurant was a wonderful spot we happened upon by chance. Speaking with the owner, I found we lucked out as the business is only open 4 days/week. The food was terrific! The buffet items were fresh, plentiful, and a good selection to choose from. Frankly, probably priced a little low! My twins can not wait to go back, but we live 600 miles away, so it may be awhile. Really was a fantastic surprise during our trip. Thanks!

Fresh and hot food everytime we go. Owners are on hands all the time and very friendly. Never had a empty glass and great atmosphere. All you can eat dinner buffet is cheaper than it is for 2 people to eat at than at the local Sonic.
