I had a wonderful experience at this sushi restaurant. The quality of the food was outstanding — from the miso soup to the sushi, everything was absolutely delicious. You can really taste the freshness and attention to detail in every dish. The service was also excellent, very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place. You definitely won’t regret it!

Takeout order: rice bowls and kimchi.
Both dishes were just ok. My partner was not impressed with the quality of his food for the price. I found the japche rather bland like most of the other ingredients in my rice bowl. However, the beef in both bowls was flavorful. And our order of kimchi provided plenty of heat as we were not expecting it to be as spicy as it was. The customer service was good and appreciated.

Update:
Went back with a friend for lunch and got their spicy tonkatsu ramen and bulgulgi bowl combo again. Price was increased to $19.99 now.
I had the big bowl of ramen for lunch and took the bulgulgi rice bowl home for my dinner later that night. The spicy tonkatsu was really good. It wasn’t too spicy and had a very rich creamy tonkatsu broth. Very yummy!
The tonkotsu ramen and bulgulgi bowl combo consists of a full size bowl of ramen and a small bowl of rice with bulgulgi.
The ramen was ok but service was great. Very friendly staff and our waitress was so attentive. She’s friendly and took care of our party.

It had been a while since my last visit, and I noticed the ownership had changed. The original flavor remained mostly the same, and there were many new menu items. Overall, the taste was excellent—but what impressed me even more was the outstanding service. I was very satisfied and definitely plan to visit regularly.

Highly recommend this restaurant!!! So delicious!! I love their Jjampong and Bosam. More than enough side dishes provided. I am a big eater but always feel so full when I stepped out this restaurant. Very satisfied!!! And the owner has an awesome service attitude for the customer. He is so kind, always with smile, and interactive and understands what the customer wants when asked. I appreciate your big mind!!! He looks he loves this job!!!

First time trying Tong Sake House. I wanted some ramen but my wife is not a huge ramen fan, so we thought we’d give them a shot. We’re glad we did!
My Tonkotsu ramen was good but not great. I added the egg, which was perfectly done. Very good broth, but the pork was not as tender as it could have been. The noodles were just right.
My wife tried the Shrimp Teriyaki bento box. Outstanding! Perfectly prepared shrimp, nicely flavored. She ate all of her gyoza before I could get a bite, but she said they were tasty. Miso soup was good… not too salty, which sometimes happens.
She had a draft beer and I had hot house sake. They also have a bar, but I don’t know how extensive.
We’ll definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

By far the best spot in the area for an incredible lunch or dinner combo. Amazing, I repeat, AMAZING food and incredible staff. You can tell everything is fresh and hand made. 13/10 would recommend.

Strip mall surprise! Food, service and atmosphere were great. It was gone before I could take pics. Two starters, two entries. $52 and it was a lot of food. We had the bibimbab and bulgogi rice bowls with jalapeno bombs and fancy fries. Authentic and delicious.

This place is a popular spot in Poway. It’s a Korean Japanese fusion restaurant. I like the atmosphere and service here. But the foods here are so so. They didn’t meet my expectations. Takoyaki is too oily. Bulgogi is so sweet. I don’t really recommend these two dishes. Tofu salad is fine, it’s giant with a lot of greens.
