Don’t let the location or small size deter you. Tongs Asian Bistro has great sushi! We found it strictly by accident. Although we were at first leery to order so glad we tried it!!! Fish (everything) is super fresh and the rolls are beautiful! We chose takeout but they do have a couple table to sit at should you choose. Bonus…The head shop at the end of the plaza sells beer and wine while you wait.

I haven’t been able to eat here in over two years because I moved away. I’m in town got delivery and it was faster than expected! Food was delicious. I get many different items off the list and it’s always fresh. The service is kind and also funny. I was so happy to get to have this food again. Their orange chicken is amazing and my go to is the dynamite shrimp. Spicy mayo ftw.

Very nice people! It’s nice to have a Chinese & Japanese option so close to San Carlos Park that is quick and clean. I have never dined in, always take out; but they have two tables of you choose to do so. There’s also a TV in the lobby while you wait. Photos of all the sushi on the wall so you can see what you get. Very nice!

Okay this will be 2nd review at this restaurant! This place hasn’t disappointed me and probably will never disappoint. In this tiny little plaza off of alico this small restaurant has by far the best asian food in all of SouthWest Florida. From the wings to their sushi. They have the best lunch combinations and a wide selection of food available. Please come visit this restaurant while you’re here in town.

Just started working in the area and almost come here daily. It’s a small place but I’m always ordering to go. Lunch pricing is where the deals are. Have tried a few of their rolls and Chinese food, so far so good. I haven’t been disappointed yet and will continue to order from here.

Ordered takeout here from here, was pleasantly surprised to find it was ready a couple of minutes early. The service was good, and everyone was very nice.
Food was neatly packaged in a small repurposed cardboard box. I loved it, made it easy to transport the food in my car.
The food was excellent! Good flavor with fresh ingredients. Especially the steamed dumplings.
Excited to eat here again, I highly recommend.

Hard to imagine what food all of the folks who left great reviews were eating. I haven’t been here in over a year. My, how things have changed. I ordered General Tao’s chicken with mild spice level to take out. What I got was exceptionally dry chicken, that I could barely chew, seasoned to a significantly spicy level. Never again.

All the people writing reviews negatively about customer service and ordering issues clearly don’t understand who these people are. As a local, it is more than easy to say they are the best Asian food you can get in Lee county. The owner is also the receptionist, a cook, a host, and a delivery person and that echoes true for her husband and co-owner as well. I love her bold and brash way of speaking, it always makes me smile. They are a hole in the wall run by the same family for 10 years. There is usually only one person and one phone in operation for orders. It happens. I would never rate them lowly for that. They’ve got the best food you can get as far as Asian is concerned.

It was great! Not “schmancy”, more like a ‘Mom n Pop’..including the ambiance -in a good way- and surprisingly low prices. The place was clean, the chef personally brought our dishes out, and the food was EXCELLENT.
The owners made you feel like you would want your own guests to feel. They’re mainly take -out (&popular), and also have small but nice dine-in area. Will def go there again when in area. Right off Alico Rd. If they were where I live I’d be there ALL the time. You should definitely check them out.

I ordered the sweet and sour chicken combo and two sushi rolls. The sushi was phenomenal and affordable I loved it! The combo on the other hand I wasnt a fan of, burnt fried rice and bland egg roll but the chicken was good! I’m giving it 4 stars for the sushi I really recommend it.
