Had to kill some time before we went up to the House of Blues for an event. Waitress and bartender were super nice but slow at times. Drinks were really good, I got some tenders over a cornbread pancake which was good but the tacos were not very good, everything just seemed a little too salty. We started with some loaded tots, the best thing we ate all night and very good!!

Close to most of the downtown attractions, but far enough away from the convention center to not make it a mad house.
The fried pickles and tstor tots were amazing. I asked for extra crunchy and they delivered
The Korean wings were also very crisp and flavorful.
They have a great selection of beers on tap as well as a full service bar.
And of course…. TVs all over the place to catch your favorite game.

With the Texans and Rockets playing they had 3-4 bartenders in their very large wrap around bar and service well. I waited probably 10 minutes for acknowledgement but that’s only because the person next to me called one of the young ladies over. Its a cool spot just they definitely needed an additional 2 bartenders. They were all nice just too busy to provide service. They should remove the higher priced old fashions due to literally not having the correct ingredients. If Im buying Woodford and Angel’s I dont want a thick dried out orange peel and a marching cherry. Mine was shaken in a Boston and served chock full of baby ice cubes which I literally used my nails to take out it as I couldn’t get silver ware. So yes it has potential but definitely better places. Fun for groups and Jack and cokes,beers etc. Not cocktails. Food was descent.

Tom’s Watch Bar is okay at best. The food is overpriced for what you get, and the portion of fries is pretty disappointing. You don’t get napkins unless you ask — and when you do, they hand you these tiny bar napkins that barely help unless you’re fine using your shirt instead.
The servers are nice when they do check on you, but it’s once in a blue moon, so don’t expect much attention after your order.
Parking is another headache; expect to pay almost the cost of another meal just to park nearby.
On the positive side, this is a great place to watch games — TVs are everywhere, and the setup for sports fans is impressive. Just wish the overall experience matched the atmosphere.

Stopped by after sessions at the convention center and loved it. The Nashville Hot wings were crispy with just the right heat, and the pickles + ranch made it even better. Fries were fresh, and the local Karbach lager was a great pairing. Comfortable bar seating and friendly service. Would definitely come back!

We enjoyed it so much, I’m not sure if you can bring your kids on a regular day but the day we went, was a Club América meet whit players, so we didn’t have the kids problem but I will recommend to call before going whit the kids.
Other than that Music was good, drinks very good and service was excellent our waitresses was very attentive, it was like every time I needed something she was on our side .
Definitely going back may be next time whit no kids .

This was our first trip here! The buffalo wings with fries was superb!! Also lemon drops to top it all off was perfection. Our server was Yvette she was very helpful with showing us what were the hits on the menu! She was very polite and helpful the whole time, Thanks to her we will visit again in the future!

Visiting from Colorado and haven’t had great service. But at Tom’s Watch Bar Desiree took great care of me and my family. She was responsive and helped us navigate the menu for the best food and drink options. She also took care of our kids too, always making sure they had everything they need. Great atmosphere but Desiree made the experience even more great. Thank you again!!

Decent place, the food was half decent here and reasonable priced. We sat at the bar so we had a few different bartenders tending to us. The one bartender was very friendly and attentive and the other seemed like he was having a bit of an off day maybe, he wasnt rude, but didnt come off like he was thrilled to be there either. Nonetheless I would come back here again if I visit houston
