Tom’s Diner just catered our office Christmas Party (Breakfast). Awesome selection and taste of food. Breakfast fare can be iffy but not at this restaurant. Everything was great, pancakes, eggs, biscuits & gravy, bacon & sausage and even a fruit tray. Everyone enjoyed the food!

A true-blue mom and pop diner. The focus is consistent diner fare…you won’t fine much here if you’re looking for adventurous eating, but if you want familiarity and consistency, this is a good place. Even the decor feels like you’ve captured an old diner in time, dust and all.
Service was excellent. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the menu and had a comforting southern charm to her.

Came here for breakfast a few days ago and enjoyed it for the price paid. The food is good, and our server was attentive, despite also cleaning other tables and ringing up other customers. Parking is a bit limited, and that’s the only reason for deducting a star. Overall, I do recommend giving Tom’s diner a shot.

I stopped here for breakfast on a Saturday around 8 AM. There were plenty of tables open, and service was prompt. The coffee was decent. I ordered poached eggs over ham and an English muffin with cheese on top, and picked hash browns for a side. The food wasn’t great, but it also wasn’t bad! The service and atmosphere make up for it enough that I would be willing to go back and try something else next time.

Having seen this spot many times over the years, but never stopping in, I decided to go for breakfast one weekday, while I was in the area. There only seemed to be two employees working; the cook and the server, but service was still quite prompt. When I got there, there was only one other person dining in there, but by the time I left, there were many others and several more tables sat. They also seemed to have a few take-out orders pop in while there, so they clearly do a decent business.
The menu is typical, basic diner fare, nothing creative nor unique. I opted for a bacon, egg, & cheese sandwich on English muffin and it was pretty good. The breakfast potatoes that I got as a side were nicely done, with a little crusty fry on the sides, which I really like.
Overall, it was decent.

If you are a new customer, the restaurant’s appearance from the outside might surprise you a little. It appears to be a little dated. However, the sheer number of automobiles parked outside on a Saturday afternoon warned us that appearances could be deceiving—and they were this time.
You are asked to sit down when you enter. After being told of this requirement, we sat down and noticed the sign that stated, “Please sit yourselves,” which was suspended from the ceiling by two threads.
Despite how busy the restaurant was, the server girls provided excellent service. They always maintained a sense of urgency and smiled while they served and waited. I’ve worked in the services sector before, so I am aware of how busy things can get. And it was beautiful to watch these few women manage the front line with class, style, and love.
Considering how busy the restaurant was, the food arrived promptly. The food and coffee were both excellent and hot. The food servings were what you would anticipate from a family diner, unlike the place with “juke” in the name.
I think a little remodeling may really improve the overall appearance, but I would always choose excellent service above good aesthetics. will undoubtedly return. In any case for breakfast foods, I endorse it. I’ll have to return for items for dinner and lunch.

It was a place I visited because I liked the song ’Tom’s Diner’ by Suzanne Vega. (Of course, it’s not the background of the song.)
Sitting by the sunny window, I ordered French toast and breakfast dish. The French toast was especially delicious and I felt similar to when I made it at home. The server was very kind, and she made us feel good all along. It was enough to feel friendly in the touch of refilling warm coffee several times.

Walked in. Seated self(assumed you had to). Very tiny diner. Waitress was almost hugging me when taking my order. I then saw a small sign above the doorway hanging from the ceiling that said to seat yourself. You would miss it if you didn’t look up. (Most people don’t walk in staring at the ceiling I assume?) Food came. It was good enough. Nobody asked to write home about it.
