I went there on Tuesday, January 27th, 2026 for a post birthday dinner (due to my 37th birthday was on Monday, January 26th, 2026 and I couldn’t go out for my birthday on that day due to the massive snow from Winter Storm Fern) and it was amazing. It has a cozy ambiance and the food was great. I had the Victoria’s Secret Roll and the Shrimp Yaki Udon.

Absolutely amazing restaurant! The food, service, atmosphere all 5+ stars. We have sushi 1-2 times a week and are very picky. I almost didn’t come because some of the reviews but I believe them to be nonsense or a really off night. This restaurant rivals the top notch manhattan sushi restaurants we’ve been too. Our waitress Taylor was fantastic, very attentive. She recommended the Bay Breeze roll and it was to die for! We live in Canton and this is well worth the drive. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back, thank you!

We have been fans of tomo for years. We used to live around the corner and would order takeout all the time. We just recently with family and this place still holds up. Service was great, and speedy, but we didn’t feel pushed out. We had edamame, Thai chili calamari, fried rice and 4 different sushi rolls and everything was delicious. It still remains our favourite sushi place and we will be back again

Ordered the Hercules Roll and the Chicken Pad Thai. Both were great!! I will definitely be getting the roll again!! It was delicious and a perfect blend of spicy and sweet! I definitely recommend trying if you’re in the area!

I can’t believe that I haven’t shared my review of Tomo yet because this is one of my all-time favorite restaurants. Their sushi is phenomenal, and they always nail the presentation. Just look at the Angry Dragon Roll that comes on fire! Everything is so fresh and flavorful. Jin, the owner, is always there and welcomes every customer. I’ve grown up coming here and this place will always be special to me. I highly, highly recommend coming here if you’re looking for some of the best Japanese food!

The food here is quite good with many different asian options. I’ve had their ramen and sushi platter here and I very much enjoyed them. The atmosphere is also great, I love sitting next to their fish tank. However, when I ordered the sushi boat I specifically asked to have it served with no white fish because I am very allergic, and the server ensured me that there was going to be no white fish in it (she said it was light pink so it would be ok for me). When I ate the sushi I got an allergic reaction anyways, which means it contained white fish even though I asked for it to be removed.

I used to love this place, but last time I placed an order for pick up. My bag was the only one out of all pick up orders that was in a plastic bag and not the restaurant bag, when I asked if there was a minimum order requirement, the cashier just told me “everyone is different” (I left tip even though it was just a pick up order), so I kept wondering what would make my order different. The biggest surprise was when I opened the food, the soup was leaking and the sushi rolls were opening up, the rice on the sushi felt old and dry and on top of that the kale had dirt on it! I’m so disappointed, never coming back.
