We had nachos and sliders. Sliders were so good we didn’t get a picture! The service was great. I was just a bit surprised at the dust that was all over the things hanging on the ceiling. Maybe a good power wash.

Great little historic bar/restaurant in downtown Creede. When I was there they were out of most of what was on the menu – but I can’t fault them for that because it was the end of a holiday weekend and there aren’t a lot of restaurant supply stores near Creede. What was available was tasty.
Beer selection leans toward biker tastes.
If I had any notes it is that the waitstaff were a little short and seemed exhausted – but again it was the end of a holiday weekend.

This was the only restaurant open when we were in town. The seating on the roof is great while the sun shines. I had the cuban sliders. Just okay. Bar food available, they did have ribs available on Wednesday’s, my husband ordered and said they were very good, 1/4 rack was plenty. The drive to creede is yotally worth it, beautiful in the fall.

Wow. This place is disgusting. Re used plastic solo cups for drinks. Nasty. I could see the cracking in the cup from heavy use. Service was good. But the food was the worst bbq I’ve ever had in my life. Plus kraft mac and cheese for $41.. Just gross. Come on do better. This is just wrong to be serving this trash. Not cool.

Nice little joint to stop for a quick beer and some snacks. We had the wings and a Mexican lager from Ska Brewing. The wings were smoked as it didn’t appear they had a fryer in the building, but they were still delicious. The staff told us the building has been there since 1892, and Tommyknocker has occupied it since 1999.

Bartender was just downright rude. There were 8 of us watching a football game, eating and drinking and we heard her say,” That’s a lively bunch. Are they having their weekly VFW meeting ?” After sitting there waiting on another beer, we finally said, “can we get some service over here ?”, to which she replied, ” It’s bar service only after 6:00. It would have been nice to had been informed of that. There’s no sign saying that anywhere. Needless to say, we finished our drinks and left. Her tip reflected her rudeness. If you want tipped, be nice to your customers. This was on Sept. 19 if the owner gives a damn. We’ll find another bar when we come to Creede again. Somewhere that they appreciate spending your money at their establishment.

If it is Tuesday and you are looking for world class spare ribs which do fall from the bone… this is your Place. Additional very good draft Beer and a very friendly owner. Perfect Location. And again the ribs are like in heaven. Love the Place.

Awesome bar in a historic Creede building. Good spot for lunch or dinner. BBQ is really good and ribs are spectacular. I highly recommend the Okey Pokey (pork BBQ sandwich) and the Banker. Not a whole lot of beer on tap but they serve local brews from Alamosa, CO. Best Bloody Mary I’ve ever had. Great place to eat for kids as well. In the summertime there is a great patio out back and evenings always have live music in the summer as well.

Amazing place, very relaxed atmosphere in a beautiful mountain town. Great BBQ and staff serving it. If you are in town and would like a cocktail or beer, then this is the place to go.
