The food was outstanding! The Bavarian pretzel was honestly the best pretzel I’ve ever had. The fried pickles were excellent and served piping hot. I had the Korean chicken wrap with a side of fries and it was awesome. The wrap had the right about of heat, sweet and crunch and the fries were steak fries which were nice and hot. Mixed drinks were spot on, had an amaretto stone sour and a crown apple with Pepsi. Staff was super friendly and on top of their game. I HIGHLY recommend this place all around for a fun time and great food!

It used to be so good! Now, the menu changed and your food always comes out cold…or just, not hot. Our food tonight was cold and greasy. The tables wobble so much, it’s hard to find one that doesn’t and you have to try and fix it yourself. The ceiling fans are always going so fast above your head blowing in your face and making g your food colder than how it came out. The fans are fixed below the actual lights, so it’s like a strobe light feeling you are going to have a seizure. Don’t sit near a fan if you have vestibular problems. All of the fake candles on the tables are out of their juice so they don’t work. The music. You couldn’t get worse…I think they play the shittiest loud, inappropriate music on purpose to force people to pay to override the songs. It’s cold in the winter and no air in the summer. Go to Fatties.

Honestly, some of the prices are a bit high for what you get. $13 for decent cheese curds is way too much but at least they were cooked in clean oil. We were tempted by a pizza but they have no giardiniera (or maybe the nice server didn’t understand what I said) so we split the Eagle burger instead.

For my mom and I to split it was more than enough and even though I’m not a huge fan of brioche but the ingredients worked well together very well. Can we please get thicker fries though? It was genuinely a really good burger though.

All in all my mom really liked the place and so did I as it wasn’t too loud, the bartender was really sweet and a young man opened the door for her on the way out when she went to smoke.

Only downside was we came for the cook with the long hair who looked like Richard Reid the Shoe Bomber that is seemingly famous for speaking In patois/tongues while fighting with the police after harassing another customer while high as a kite. But I think we missed the show.

It’ll be nice to come back and enjoy the patio on our next trip to Orland Park and maybe try the pizza.

I was there just trying to have a nice night to myself as I’m going through a divorce… however one of the employees had a meltdown and started attacking people and yelling. Cops were called and it was incredibly hectic. Don’t know what was the bigger crime, the unprofessionalism or the prices.

I’ve been here a couple times but, I just saw this place on a police body cam footage YouTube video about a messed up cook who tried fighting a customer. Bartender on duty managed it like an absolute professional and I’m happy to say that this place is honestly really worth it. That tender deserves a raise!!

Just a good neighborhood bar – nothing fancy, just reasonably priced food and drinks. Good place to hang out. Looking forward to seeing what it looks like when they expand into the next door space.

Update 2022-02-27:
I posted some photos, Tommy nailed it with the Jambalaya.
Flavor is rich and tasty and all ingredients are prepared perfectly, including the shrimp.
There is just enough sauce to dip the tasty garlic bread in.
Time is limited, it wont be there for long, make sure to get there soon and try it.
You wont be disappointed!

Update 2021-10-09:

They are still rocking it up here!
Tommy is updating the menu for the fall season so come up and check out the weekly specials.
Food is great, bar is clean, the crew are great!

Original Post:
The pub is recently under new management but is still the neighborhood pub we’ve come to love over the years.
Food menu has improved and has some great changes and is now locked in.
Tommy is making subtle changes to make the place his, so far, no complaints.
Live music on the weekends is a welcomed change and Ray Gavin tonight was great artist.
Weekly food and drink specials are spot on.
Check it out, it’s a great place to be!

Definitely should have looked at the reviews first. Was in the area and the menu looked decent, so me and some friends decided to give it try. We got our seats and was handed a couple menus and never recieved any more service after that. We watch people who walked in after us get get there orders taken we never got even a glass of water. We left, no need to come back after the rest of the reviews it does look like the food is good either.
