Came for breakfast, enjoyed it and took a dozen tamales home for later. Also tried the chicken enchiladas which had more meat than the tamales. Will have to try more items.

We walked in shortly after they opened and got a warm welcome by Tommy the owner.
Got a small Tommy Bowl for myself and the portion was not small at all! Very flavorful! Also ordered the famous Tamale Pie, and it was fabulous! The fritos at the bottom added a surprise crunchiness and brought the dish to a different level. Will return and enjoy the whole experience again!

Food was great! Got a Tommy Bowl, and it was delicious. Excellent tamales with great flavor and spice.
Staff was very friendly and kind. Really enjoyed taking to them, and it added to overall great atmosphere. Will definitely return the next time we’re in town

Great food. Even greater service. The staff is so attentive and friendly! Probably the nicest restaurant staff I’ve ever encountered. Usually, you have to know someone personally who makes tamales to get good tamales, but Tommy’s are pretty darn good! The rice is also very fluffy – loved! I definitely recommend eating here!

I’ve been a long time customer, at least lunches few times a month. Ordered a large order, and apparently you guys charge for the hot sauce? Never have before. Found you have new owners and the post teen running the show said would give me 5 little dips on my 10+ item order. I asked for at 1 per which if anyone ordered 1 each individually, you would have. So the solution was for us to pay for the sauce!!! Your food is great, whole family loves it and everyone that visits from out of town, i introduce and they all love it. But if you, as the new owner, going to nickel and dime for products that i’ve seen you hand out to individual orders, then looks like I cannot be your customer any longer. Sorry to lose you as a go-to, but I guess this is what happens when the original owner steps away and new owners lose customers over $.50 – $1. Sorry to say, I wont be back or recommend you out of principal, not quality.

We ordered first time today 1 dozen green chicken tamales and street tacos with beef, chicken n pork (3 tacos).
The tamales is good and I thought is going to be bigger size so it’s kind of small, but for $17 a dozen it’s not bad. The tacos that we like is chicken taco is really good. The beef they use is ground beef so it’s not that good. The pork is ok, but overall we will order more tamales and chicken taco from here. Nice customer service and we love it so far. thank you guys

Love this place. The tamales had great flavor and the the chips and queso were a great compliment to our meal. The chicken and pork tamales tasted as if I was in the deep woods of Mexico with my Abuela hand making these on her casa.

Loved Tommy’s. Dropped in for a quick lunch and I was thrilled with the tamale plate. I only wished I had ordered four instead of two they were so good. Service was quick and friendly.

I don’t even like tamales but I always come here when I’m in town. Most tamales I’ve had are a bunch of masa and a bit of meat. These are a perfect combo. They are small but that lets you try the different flavors. Apparently they have tacos now as well.
