“Tommy Bahamas nailed it! Coconut shrimp was to die for, and those ahi tuna tacos were ! Chicken was also on point – moist and full of flavor. Great eats, would definitely go back!”

The staff was friendly and cheerful. The atmosphere was pleasant with island music that didn’t interfere with conversation. The meals were delicious. The drink menu is extensive. Try the scallop sliders. You’ll be happy you did.

We went for my husband’s birthday and used to like this place. First hostess wasn’t very friendly and told my husband with open table you can’t sit on the patio as it tells you and coldly told us to go upstairs to another hostess. Waited to be sat for another 5 minuted to find out our people we were meeting had been sat at least 15 minutes earlier and they didn’t remember? Server was nice but terribly slow and barely came by. Seemed very flustered. No more bread and honey butter, Mahi tacos now skimpier than ever. They very small with only two instead of the 3 before and no more plantains on the side but just chips. Coconut shrimp seemed also like less of them with barely any sauce. Prices have even gone up with way less food. They told the server about my husband’s birthday and we had no acknowledgement of it whatsoever. Cocktails were the only good thing about the dining experience. Almost $200 for dinner and two drinks a piece (one dinner and two small appetizers) and I left starving and upset. We won’t be going back again. Used to be a good place.

Not impressed. Took 10 mins to see a waitress and get water, 25 mins to get our drinks, 40 mins to get an appetizer (that we didnt order) 50 mins to get the one we did order, which were the biscuits. Asked for more water, never got it. The lobster in the surf-n-turf was extremely dry/over-cooked, but all the other food was cooked perfect ( Noticed the managers hanging out and talking the entire 1.75 hours we were there. Not very professional. The drinks were strong, so at least the bartender was skilled. Also, noticed someone apologizing to the people next to us for bringing something wrong for dessert. We weren’t even offered a dessert menu. After handing the server a card to pay and asking for more water again, they came back with the check to sign and water at a decent time; we then noticed that we were charged for the appetizer that we never asked for (about $20 after taxes). We’ll see if the bank flags it as fraud…. wish us both luck!

Tommy Bahama Restaurant never disappoints. From the moment you walk in, the island-inspired atmosphere makes you feel relaxed and on vacation. The service was friendly, attentive, and perfectly timed without ever feeling rushed.

The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, and the cocktails were equally impressive and well-balanced. You can truly taste the quality and consistency they’re known for.

Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just enjoying a night out, Tommy Bahama delivers a great dining experience with a laid-back luxury vibe. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

This was my first time at Tommy Bahamas and I went for brunch with my mom and sister. The restaurant definitely has a cool Caribbean beach vibe and they had a really wonderful patio with a steel drum player, which was really nice. That said, I’m feeling very mixed about the meal and overall service that I experienced. I don’t feel that it matched the price and feel a bit disappointed overall.

We started with the coconut shrimp, not pictured, and that was absolutely fantastic. If I come back, I definitely would order that again. It had a perfect crunchy, coconut shell that paired perfectly with the mango salsa.

While the menu has a lot of very creative options, especially for seafood lovers, the brunch menu was very thin on anything for the sweet side of brunch. It catered much more to the savory side.

I had the beef fillet and eggs and was very unimpressed by the meal. I thought it was overpriced for the small piece of overcooked filet (had was med-rare and the other half was med-well) that I received. I liked the chimichurri that topped it, which seemed to be the only flavor for the meat. The potatoes and the eggs were absolutely under seasoned. They didn’t have any salt and pepper on the table, and I needed to request it. Because it felt like the food had no seasoning whatsoever.

My sister had the Aji tuna tacos that is served in a wonton shell. She absolutely raved about the flavor. However, she was frustrated in that when you bid into the she’ll it completely crumbles apart, and you have to end up eating the taco with a fork.

My mom ended up getting the artichoke salad, which I had a few bites of as well, and that was delicious and was very flavorful.

We splurged and got three desserts. The Piña colada cake was absolutely our favorite and would order again and again. It was such a light cake and had a delicate filling. It was a flavor bomb that tasted absolutely divine and we all agreed we would stop in the restaurant just for a slice of that cake. Our next favorite was the Key lime pie. It was the right amount of tartness and I loved the crust. The pineapple crème brûlée is definitely a showstopper dessert. Crème brûlée is my favorite dessert and it really did not disappoint at all. It was a great flavor, and I liked the chopped caramelized pineapple underneath the custard. However, I felt that the cake and the pie were overall better than the pineapple crème brûlée.

The service was a bit of a letdown. Drinks were very slow and coming. We got our appetizer before our drinks were even served. I had ordered an iced tea and it was never refilled, and it was hard to find the server. When our desserts were brought, we needed to ask for utensils. For the amount that the food cost I was very disappointed that the service wasn’t better.

I may be tempted to try the restaurant again for dinner, but I’m in no rush to do so. Overall, we had a great time and much of the food was very good. But I just thought for the cost it didn’t live up to the hype.

During a recent stop in Scottsdale on our way to Mexico, we chose to dine at the Tommy Bahama restaurant—and we couldn’t be happier with our decision, especially since there are no Tommy Bahama restaurants in Canada. A special shoutout to our host, Smile, who was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to make our evening truly memorable. We were also impressed by Dian, the restaurant manager, who personally came to our table to ensure everything was perfect. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious, rounding out an unforgettable experience. Thank you for the amazing hospitality!
