Fantastic food and service! The pizza and breadsticks were exceptionally good, and we were happy that they give a generous amount of dipping sauce—enough to last through the very last breadstick! I highly recommend trying the White Roma Pie. Our waitress was managing several things but stayed completely on top of everything with the sweetest demeanor. If you’re craving pizza, this “joint ” is worth the stop!

Casual atmosphere and the service was prompt. The breadsticks were outstanding with cheese and marinara dip. The stromboli was full of flavor. The meatball Sammie was delicious too. The food was hot and fresh. It was an excellent meal and I look forward to going back.

Came in for a late lunch on a Sunday. Dined in with Carol and she was great. Offered up some recommendations on menu items. Food came out quickly, was fresh and hot. Breadsticks were the best, meatball sub was great. Pizza could have had a longer bake but I’ll just ask for that next time.

Ok…first, this place has amazing food and customer service. Second, one of my children used my phone & gave this place 3 stars thinking they were giving a great rating and I just caught it. ♀️ So…my apologies…and now I’m editing/ correcting it. Third, the homemade breadsticks are the best! The pizza is super good too! And I’m personally thrilled they carry anchovies.
I consider Tomato Pie a gem to this small town and we don’t get to eat here as much as we’d like. We were there about 3 weeks ago. The server and cashier (same person) was great with my daughter when she spilled her full drink & then decided to immediately tip the server with a bunch of pennies!
I struggled with my rating with the atmosphere because the building isn’t fancy but they work with what they got and they keep it clean! The indoor dining area isn’t huge but has plenty of seating for the location. We love the huge outside fenced-in patio/dining area and wall art.

The is a pizza shop doing it right. The photo I took of the bread sticks was an empty basket. They were good enough that I forgot to take one until they were gone.
Our only problem is my wife’s sensitivity to fennel. This is a common ingredient in italian sausage and it tastes like in their sauce. This is going to make it a less frequent place for us. However, we still might stop in when we feel like another drive 37 minutes from home. Great crunchy crust and good dough. That makes everything on top better.

The service and food was excellent! I love their pizza sauce, I have acid reflux and it doesn’t bother me. Their sauce is home made. The price was very reasonable especially for a small town family shop! I highly recommend trying this place out. I got a 12″ Stromboli with meet cheese and sauce! As I write this review I long to return for another. I will definitely make it my goal to return, I live 15-20 miles away.

I’ve been going to Tomato Pie for several years. I have to say I do not live anywhere near this restaurant – but if I am anywhere near it (even 15+ miles away from a place I’m going) I am taking a detour!! It’s always a treat to go into the restaurant because the staff are wonderful, the food taste fresh and it’s very delicious. It is a little pricier than a regular pizza place, but it is worth it. It doesn’t look like much on the outside and the town it is in is very small. However this is a gem of a restaurant and I highly recommend making a special trip to eat this pizza.

First time back since they reopened and I’ve got to say, it RULES!! I have never had such light and airy breadsticks in my life. The buttery flavor and super soft crunch will have you ordering some to take home. We had the Carnivore and The Ultimate pizza and the toppings were plentiful and the taste was superb! Great job and HIGHLY recommended!

Food, Service, and atmosphere was great. Restaurant had fans going and was cool enough my partner went and got a sweater (not typical for most dine in pizza places). Service was fantastic even during their dinner rush.
They start you out with delicious bread sticks with options for ranch, garlic butter, Jalapeno cheese and marinara. We went with the Marinara and Jalapeno Cheese and highly recommend!
We ordered a 12″ Cheese pizza, A Stromboli, and a Chef Salad. Portions are bigger than anticipated on the stromboli and salad. I have pictures of the pizza (missing a few slices because I couldn’t wait), Half of the stromboli (because she couldn’t wait either), and the bread sticks!
Highly recommend. We drove from Ellettsville and we’d absolutely make the drive again!
Just realized some of the pictures didn’t turn out great, will post some from the next visit as well!
