I have been wanting to try this place. I currently cant have dairy because of my daughter having an intolerance so we decided to eat here since they have vegan / dairy free options. The pricing isnt terrible for what you get. If you’ve never had fake cheese you can very clearly taste the difference. With this pizza it was not that noticeable. All the toppings blended well together. I would definitely try other vegan versions that they have next time I am looking to eat pizza. My husband got the buffalo chicken pizza & loved it. Their pizza most definitely tastes good & it smells amazing too. The inside is very spacious & the lighting is nice in there. They also have multiple people working to make sure everyone is well taken care of. I would recommend this place for sit down & for take out. Their menu is nice & diverse and they get things done in a timely manner. Only issue I really see if that the parking lot can get packed. But that can happen anywhere.

I’m a big fan of pizza and I always like to go to different places to try their version of a great cheese pizza. I absolutely love the pizza here. The size is about 11 to 12 in. Perfect for two people to share. We had a jerk chicken salad. Very tasteful and well balanced as well. Ended up getting the steak and cheese on the pita. Keep in mind that was one order of steak and cheese. Many of the dishes could be split with two people or more.

I think the food is great. I’ve not had anything I don’t like. I love their pizzas. They’re very different than every other pizza place.
The staff is super friendly. They’re also good at remembering you if you have been there before or are a regular.
They usually have one or two stouts on draft and a small beer menu. It could be a little noisy in here, but it’s not a big deal. There are some TVs that you could watch that I’ll have something different on them.

As a full blooded Italian I usually take my Pizza very seriously. Floppy, melty, overstuffed pizza is the norm nowadays and finding a good pie can be tough. However, Tomato Bar does not disappoint. Although I don’t believe in throwing dozens of toppings on Pizza this place somehow manages to walk the line very well. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad pie from here. Some of their menu options are definitely questionable and I’ve not had everything on the menu. But from what I’ve had thus far I can only say positive things. The service is usually pretty great, the apps are always spot on, the atmosphere is always killer and the drinks never let down. This is a great pizza spot and one I’d easily recommend as probably the best in the region. An easy recommendation from me.

Seriously the best vegan pizza I’ve ever had. Absolutely phenomenal. They also had a Ween poster with an RTJ one next to it, as a big fan of both bands they get extra credit for taste in music as well! Will absolutely be back the next time we’re in Valpo

The food is always great. Service is what you’d want when going out to eat. The chicken wings are always a hit. Tell them we’ll done for extra crispy deliciousness. The kid’s meals are priced pair and you get homemade pizzas for the price. I do wish a drink was included. Pizza, salad, canzone, sandwich or other, whatever you choose you won’t be disappointed.

This was my first visit here, what a great place! I a told this is a small family owned business with 3 locations. The selection of pizzas is AMAZING as well as the other menu items. I ordered a Dough Nut appetizer and a Magic Potion pizza. The appetizer was done just right, soft on the inside with a firm but gentle crust on the outside. Complete with marinara sauce, full of flavor! The pizza, well………. the pizza had a really good thin crust with good flavor and cooked just right. The sauce was a moderately sweet sauce with a nice flavor, really held its own. Then there is the toppings; super fresh and not processed. When you bite into the pizza it’s a flavor explosion in your mouth, like a fine wine- so much body, so much complexity but yet smooth on the pallet. I washed down my amazing food selections with a few craft beers from their vast selection available. I LOVED this place and wish I could bring all my friends back here. I have had my favorite pizza places over the years from Chicago to Negril Jamaica, this is by far the best one yet and sets a high bar for others to follow. I highly recommend this place to all, I have no doubt you will see why for yourself.

The portion are generous! So unless you eat to bring back some left overs you may want to get the small pizza with the big salad. We got the big salad and the big pizza meatlovers and that was plenty. All is made on the fly, you can see the chef making the pizza dough! Really chill, casual place.
