Extremely upsetting and unsafe experience, especially for anyone with dietary restrictions.
As soon as we sat down, we clearly informed our waitress that both my husband and I are vegan and that I am also gluten free. She assured us she understood. I ordered a salad with a vinaigrette and specifically asked multiple times to confirm it was vegan.
Not only did our order take an extremely long time to arrive, but when the salad and the dressing finally came out, something seemed off. I asked again if she was absolutely sure that it was vegan, and she reassured me that she had verified with the kitchen. Trusting that information, I tasted a tiny amount and immediately knew something was wrong. I questioned it again because I am a very strict vegan.
After going back to the kitchen once more, she returned and admitted the dressing contained egg.
This is exactly why I repeatedly asked. Dietary restrictions are not preferences, and incorrect information can cause serious issues. At that point, we no longer trusted anything coming from the kitchen and canceled our entire order before the food even arrived.
We ended up waiting nearly an hour for nothing and left without eating.
If you have dietary restrictions, allergies, or follow a strict vegan or gluten free diet, I would strongly caution against eating here. This situation was careless, stressful, and completely avoidable if ingredients had been verified properly from the start.

Chose this spot for the nice vegan selection and that was just the beginning of the awesomeness.
Husbo and I got vegan pies, friend got one of their non-veg specialties. All of us thoroughly enjoyed the pizza. The housemade vegan sausage was perfect and all the toppings looked so fresh like straight from the garden.
We also loved the artwork and every staff member we encountered! Everyone was friendly and all smiles throughout our visit.

Definitely, one of the best I have had in my lifetime.
There was 4 of us & the food was great. I personally had the dirty bird & it was so good.

My family loves this place! We do a Margherita style pizza and BBQ wings at least once a month. It’s a bit pricey but no one can beat the quality. Even my youngest who hates pizza loves this one!

If you don’t like this place, you need to get your taste buds checked. There is something here for everyone, even the wings and array of sauces are all exceptional.

There aren’t many places my kid can eat safely due to multiple food allergies. In fact, I can count them on one hand. One place I can always count on — is Tomato Bar! Not only is their food fantastic — the staff is top notch. They cater to the regular folks, as well as vegans — and in our case, take food allergies very seriously. This place is a staple in our rotation!
