Came here for a coffee – ordered at 148 – no one in line. Sat at the window until 154 until someone acknowledge that I was there and take my money. Then proceeded to wait until 156 for her to bring me VT iced caramel macchiato. Terrible service.

I frequent the Ballwin Starbucks a few times a week. I generally ordera Pink Drink. These last three visits, the pink drink was hardly pink. It was more of a coconut milk drink. Today’s visit was a cup full of ice, and the product that was in it was nearly white with absolutely no strawberries. If I could post a photo I would do so. I will be visiting other Starbucks in the future.

I am not typically a person to leave reviews but i wanted to compliment the morning staff of this store. As someone who is the complete OPPOSITE of a morning person the employees working the drive through are always happy and sound very welcoming, their happiness is contagious and definitely gets me to start having a better morning when i go through.

DO NOt set foot in this store. The manager is mentally unhinged. I go to Starbucks (not this one) almost everyday and order same thing. Shaken expresso and water. Went in to simply ask for a refund for a drink they gave Me (instead of water) that I did not purchase. They gave Me “cafe latte.” I guess it sounded like water.
What insued next is beyond bizarre. First person at register could not complete this task. So instead of asking manager herself, she put it on Me, the customer. She asked Me how I could pull it up in the app, what was the total, and how I could find it. (It was a drive thru purchase).
When I calmly told her I did not work there and did not know how to do that, all You know what broke lose. She said “If You’re going to say that to Me, You better talk to My manager!” who was sitting at a table in a “meeting.”
The manager proceeds to bully Me and starts telling Me I better change My tone?? (I was talking in a monotone voice) I have many years experience working with the general public. This was one of the worst interactions I have ever seen. By this point the manager was creating a scene. She started yelling at Me in Spanish, because she said she did not like what I was saying in English. I told her I knew some Spanish, and then She then said I better tell her what the drink order was in Spanish, or there were no way I was getting My money back. What??
By this point the whole place was watching. She was screaming from the register in Spanish to the entire store. I backed away towards the door. She realized she had caused a huge scene, and quickly gave Me My $5 back. Not a single worker intervened, as they are all clearly terrified of her. 🙁
All because the person at the drive-thru misunderstood My order. Starbucks customer service made it right with a $20 credit to My account. I left shaking and distraught.
The manager needs SERIOUS training!! Until that happens, this is not a pleasant place to go. I will not be going back to this location.
Try the one just a little farther East on Manchester. 100x better!

This is the quickest Starbucks I’ve ever been to. Even with 10 cars in front of you in the drive thru, you’ll never wait more than a few minutes. Never had an issue at this location.

I constantly am preaching above and beyond service at my salon. This Starbucks knows how to go above and beyond. A small mix up in similar named to-go orders not only turned into them correcting it but recommending better food options to replace the food item they didn’t have and everyone being so kind and understanding. A very rememberable experience, thank you

I come to this location all the time because it’s right by my house and there’s normally pretty good service but this was not the case tonight. My drink was given to me wrong three times at the drive thru window. First, they gave me a grande cup which also had no sweet cream cold foam on top so i told them i ordered a venti and it needed the cold foam. they set it on the counter and started making me a venti then handed it to me without the caramel drizzle. they took it back in the store and yelled to someone that it needed the caramel drizzle and then gave me back the cup for the third time with barely any on top at all. I have ordered this same drink several times at multiple different locations and have had zero problem. the girls in the store were also yelling things like they were “on the struggle bus today” and groaning as they were trying to make the drink and put the lids on. The whole experience left a sour taste in my mouth and it did not feel very welcoming. I attached pictures of what i ordered and what I received below for reference.

Second time I came to this location within last month period, and both time this sweet person who works here redid my matcha becasue other location made it too milky and not flavorful despite me paying extra one dollar for extra scoop of matcha ( which brings it to 7.56 for a venri size matcha latte ). They were nice enough to listen to what I had to say, to remake it and I even shared what I’ve learn from the location in CWE where they always make their matcha consistently strong. The trick is apparently is to add katcha to the blender cup first and then milk etc. That way jatcha doesnt stick to the walls, gets mixed better and dissolves nicely and adds more flavor. Thank you again!

Not one to write reviews but I felt the need to do so this morning. I ordered a venti shaken espresso with an extra pump of classic syrup and light ice (which I’ve done many times). The lady who took my order and my money was the nicest person I’ve ever talked to! When I received my coffee, the person who made it did not fill it even close to the top. It was more of a tall/grande, while paying for a venti. I asked her if that was actually mine and she replied, “You asked for light ice, I’m not sure what you want me to do about it.” and walked away. I felt so embarrassed, but also very annoyed because I’ve ordered this many times and it’s never been like this. I also asked for an extra pump of classic, so 7 pumps, but there was actually 0. It was a great start to my morning! Maybe they changed their rules on what to do when someone asks for light ice, but I guarantee I will not be asking for that again!
