⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Just OK, but not worth a second visit
Tried Tom & Chee out of curiosity. I ordered a sandwich, a soup, and a cookie, and ended up paying $23. The soup bowl was pretty small for $5, honestly felt more like a sample than a serving. The sandwich was average nothing special that would make me want to come back. For that price, I could’ve walked next door to Chipotle and gotten the same portion, maybe more, for half the cost.
It’s not terrible, but it just doesn’t add up in value or taste. One visit was enough for me—won’t be back.

First time to this place. I was pleasantly surprised. I took my food to go since my hotel was nearby. The tater tots were fantastic, the soup was very good and the sandwich was sooo good. Very unique mix of cheeses. Very melty which is what I like in grilled cheese. But this place is next level. Staff was friendly and efficient. I can’t wait to come back on my next trip to Cincinnati.

It bums me out to give Tom & Chee a low rating because I really enjoyed their fun take on grilled cheese sandwiches when they first started expanding and we had one in Florida. We were excited to try them again but ultimately disappointed and not shocked that they haven’t expanded more. First of all the good – good service that was friendly and helpful and a very clean (although sparse) restaurant. The menu was drastically slimed down with none of the fun options that I remembered. Streamlining is good but not when it takes away the soul of your restaurant. The food is just OK – everything tasted like something you could make at home for 1/10 of the price. You left hungry and with less money – why would you come back?

We stopped in for lunch while driving through the area. It appears everyone had the same idea. The place was very crowded for a Saturday afternoon, however most of the orders were to go.
We ordered the Bacon Mac & Cheese and Pepper Jack’d Ham. Both sandwiches were excellent, however I prefer the Pepper Jack’d Ham, it was full of flavor and had an extra kick with the Jalapeno Peppers.
Even though it was crowded, we got our food very quickly. The meals were delicious and the price was reasonable for the quality of the food.

Nostalgic comfort food. I got to relive the grilled cheese sandwich of my distant childhood, with tomato soup upgraded to present day foodie standards. (What fast food places use fresh garlic and basil?!) The service was amiable, competent, the food transporting—grilled cheese elevated to culinary art. « La simplicité fait la beauté »

I went here thinking the menu would be the same as Kings Island. My bubble was popped. Although I was very disappointed, the food wasn’t bad. The grilled cheese was a little too cheesy for me. But the tater tots were good. I absolutely loved the pictures of the graduates. Congratulations class of 2024!!!

My boyfriend & I enjoyed a nice lunch together here. We tried the creamy tomato soup, the bacon mac & chee sandwich, and the pesto turkey sandwich. We’ve been here a few times and each time we’ve enjoyed it a lot. We were even pleasantly surprised by the cheesy donuts, lol. Definitely a nice spot to check out! Very reasonably priced too. Only thing I wish they’d look into is adding some sort of combo/meal pricing. I’d love to buy a sandwich/soup/drink combo for a better value.
