First the good. Atmosphere & tortillas very good. Now the bad: food very bland- they messed up my order- when I asked them to correct the issue, they ignored me. I had to ask a 2nd time. Very unfriendly. Asked for to go boxes- again ignored me. Just unfriendly. I won’t be back. Go if you want bland Tex- Mex.

Went in to this location and had high expectations. Left disappointed. I got the chicken taco plate and the tacos were not filled to capacity. Little to no chicken and barely any lettuce and tomato. Every taco was skimpy. Maybe too busy to make the tacos properly but did not meet my expectations from when this location opened back in the day and was top tier and 3.33 for taco Tuesday.

The cashier made these first time visitors feel like Rosa’s Cafe values its customers. They offer a vibrant Tex Mex dining experience. The decor is beautiful, the food is very tasty and the service was wonderful. The chips were a bit stale but the homemade tortillas were delicious. The mild salsa was very spicy but good. Rosa’s has a drive thru and convenient parking for customers who prefer to dine in. They’re located in the Highland Village shopping center and easily accessible. Taco Tuesdays is something to consider.

We love Rosa’s but they struggle to get our drive-thru order correct almost every time. It is more common to either have missing items or items we did not order than to have all that we actually ordered (and paid for). Always check your bag before you pull away!

Cons: ordered the burrito and the tres amigos. Food tasted the same.
Overall if you want to go authentic you may consider another place. This was inexpensive and fast but food was ok. I would go back for an affordable beer and chips. Salsa bar was clean and there where many choices
