Reviews
That I am here the staff is friendly and inviting. The food is consistently excellent. The pizza rivals and New Haven pizza. If you not on the mood for pizza there are many choices on the menu.
The negligence was staggering. We had a strict two-hour reservation starting at 2:00 PM. Despite the restaurant being virtually empty, the server completely ignored us for a full hour. She didn’t even take our order until 3:00 PM, leaving us with only an hour to eat and celebrate. It felt like she either couldn’t understand English or simply refused to listen to a word I said.
I was the host. I selected the package. I called and set everything up. Yet, she ignored my direct instructions and took orders from other guests instead, resulting in pizzas with toppings I specifically told her not to include. When the food runner brought the wrong order, instead of apologizing, she gave me an attitude and said, ‘I didn’t put the order in.’ I don’t care who put it in—you work there, fix it!
The service was lazy and stingy. One plate of bread each table for a whole group? Empty drink pitchers for twenty minutes? I walked out of my own baby shower feeling defeated and upset because the staff couldn’t do the bare minimum. You ruined a special day I can never get back!
If I had to think of some negative stuff: The Mario pizza was a bit dry for my liking but still tasty. The waitstaff was extremely pleasant but they needed more than one server on a Friday night.
We will definitely go back for dine-in and/or pick up. I see there are some poor reviews connected with delivery but I personally don’t trust any 3d party apps (even Slice) to be perfect. Unless it is delivered personally by a business’s own delivery driver I do pickup. But that’s just me.
When we arrived around 2 PM, the restaurant was nearly empty, yet there was no host or staff at the entrance to guide guests coming in and out, which immediately made things confusing. Our server seemed unsure of what was going on from the start. We didn’t even begin placing our food order until around 3 PM, despite the event starting an hour earlier.
We clearly told the server which pizzas we wanted, but one of them still came out wrong. Between the delays, lack of organization, and overall inattentiveness — especially considering how empty the restaurant was — it put a damper on what was supposed to be a special celebration.
We understand restaurants get busy, but in this case that wasn’t the issue. Basic coordination and communication would have made a huge difference. We hope management takes this feedback seriously so future guests have a better experience.
This is the only place I’ve ever been to that asks for the pizza back and doesn’t give you a free soda or tell you to keep the pizza that was wrong or something! as a way to say sorry.
Only one of us did not like the pizza the day originally sent so we all had to wait to eat until they sent the right one. If they told us hey you could just keep the one that we sent originally I would have not been late to work and I probably would have gave the driver another 10 bucks.
Edit: not sure why the owner is pretending like they do not know who their daughter is, but nice try! Try being better people and running a better business.
