They’ve always had the best albondigas soup at any Toledo’s location. I recently tried their mole chicken enchilada and it’s the best, too. The place is always busy but service is quick. You can order to go. Good location next to Cane’s and near Sierra Vista Mall!

Our Sunday brunch group—usually 8–12 people—tries a new restaurant every week. Today Toledo’s reminded us exactly why some places are sliding downhill: they care far more about their own convenience than their customers.
We arrived early and asked for a table for 10. Simple. Instead, we ran straight into their rigid “your entire party must be here before we seat you” policy. It wasn’t just the rule—it was the attitude behind it. The staff acted as if seating paying customers was some kind of burden, as if doing their job might inconvenience them.
There were empty tables everywhere. We were ready to order drinks, spend money, and be out of the way. But the message was loud and clear: their comfort and workload matter more than their guests.
It’s a perfect example of a restaurant that has forgotten what hospitality means. Inflexible, unwelcoming, and completely uninterested in earning business from a reliable 8–12 person group that brunches every single week.
We walked across the street and were seated immediately at a competitor—who understood the basic concept of customer service.
If Toledo’s wants to know why people stop coming, it’s because experiences like this make one thing obvious: they’re more invested in protecting themselves from having to work than in taking care of the people who walk through their doors.

The service was great, food was just okay. The salsa that came with the complimentary chips was just okay and after asking for a more mild salsa it was just way too smoky. The Cumin flavor in the soup was overpowering but the meatballs seemed fresh and were tasty. I got a combination with an enchilada tamale and chile relleno. Each was just okay but once again there was way too much cumin flavor in the enchilada sauce The tamale was the best. The tostada was large and my father-in-law seemed to enjoy it. The chicken inside of my mother-in-law’s chicken burrito was too hard to cut through let alone eat so that was disappointing. We had to wait for a table even though half the restaurant was empty. I do want to stress again that our server was incredible he kept up with everything we wanted and was very knowledgeable about the menu items. Just wish the food would have been better.

07/17/21 – Another awesome meal, had an amazing server who was not only friendly but went above and beyond in her service. The margaritas were delicious as always and so was the food. Great atmosphere and I can honestly say I’m never disappointed when I eat here.

I had lunch at Toledo’s and it was so good! The chips and salsa are made fresh every day, and they’re delicious. The lunch special is a great deal – soup or salad, an entree with rice and beans, and a drink for a really reasonable price. I got the albóndigas and a chicken enchilada. The portions were so big, I couldn’t finish it all. Great service, great food, great prices. I’ll definitely be back!
