I come here quite often but today I just left this place. Tony’s service was amazing. I tried to order something that wasn’t on the menu and I insisted that they sold this particular roll (Holiday Roll) and he had the itamae personally make this roll to accommodate my preferences. The interior is inviting, well decorated. Restaurant is very clean. The service is always friendly. The food is delicious. I especially enjoy the fried sushi and philly egg roll. It’s a nice twist on favorites. The sushi tastes fresh and holds together well.

Came here on Valentine’s Day for lunch. There wasn’t anyone there since they had just opened. I wanted to eat before getting my tattoo down the street. I ordered a miso soup, with Yellowtail nigiri and a yum yum roll. I just took the spicy sauce off. The person I went with ordered crab Rangoon and the Philly cheese steak egg roll. Food was brought out quickly. It just took a moment to get the check since both people were on the phone taking orders. The restaurant itself is very nice. It’s in the Publix plaza. I had always seen the location when passing by, I just never had a chance to go until now. I would definitely go back. The only change I would make is having more raw rolls and less deep fried/tempura rolls. All in all, everything tasted great. The restroom was also clean when I went. I also enjoyed the decor on the wall too. Very traditional.

Ordered 3 meals for take out and knew 2 of us wouldn’t eat soup or salad so asked for extra vegetable in place of soup or salad and was told they would charge for extra…so you are telling me soup and salad you provide are of such poor quality they have no value so you couldn’t give me a couple extra mushrooms in their place?! Also asked for 2 extra shrimp sauce and was told it would be $2!!!! If I ate there I would get a pitcher of the stuff but I have to buy more for take out!!! I didn’t ask for 10, I asked for 2 extra when spending $60!!! Then food was not great, steak was tough and chicken tempura was over breaded. Very disappointing.

I came here yesterday thursday night. Paid with my business debit card wich i never use. I had no choice but to use it yesterday for dinner. What a coincidence that less than an hour later there we 2 attempts to charge this card in a betting app called prize picks one for $500 and another for $100 after the $500 was declined because i have to manually approve every transaction. Im 100% certain the waiter guy took my card information. I have filled a police report and i will never ever be coming here again.

My card information was stolen by the waiter and he tried to add 2 transactions totaling $600 to an app called prize picks wich is a sports betting app. We have filed a report with the jacksonville sheriffs office. Us as a big reputable company here in Jacksonville see this as very unacceptable and we will make sure this guy or restaurant takes accountability for the actions taken.

I’ll start with saying I’ve been coming here for years and the food is always great, but I came in for lunch with my 2 kids today, they both got kids hibachi and drinks, and I got the lunch hibachi with no drink. All three plates were EXACTLY the same portion yet the kids meals were $2 more and did not even include the drink. When I brought it up she just said that the kids cost more. Makes no sense to me.

The plating was great! The food was flavorful and hot. Service was excellent. Pricing is $15+up. Atmosphere in the evening wasn’t busy and was quiet and relaxing. I recommend for a low key spot to casually eat.
