Looking for a last minute dinner restaurant . Passed Tokoyo a few times in the past so we ventured in. We didn’t have a wait and were offered seating in the dinning room or the room to watch your chef prepare your meal. We opted for the show. The show was fantastic. A whole 30 minute show while your food was being cooked. We were the only couple there and it’s was definitely unique. The food was fresh ans delicious. The food was priced very reasonable. A definite must try if you are in the area. Practice catching some food before you go bc you may have to try and catch some there. Lol.

I visited this place with high expectations due to my strong interest in Japanese cuisine. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet those expectations.
The kani salad sauce was overly salty. Even after specifically requesting a less salty option and having the soy sauce replaced by the server, it was still served extremely salty.
The sushi and appetizer platter I ordered was also disappointing in terms of taste and overall quality. The balance of flavors and execution were below my expectations. For these reasons, I do not plan to return.

Went with a group of people and was charged a gratuity for the group on the check. I also left a cash tip for the server. Just checked my credit card statement. They charged me the total for the check plus the cash tip!! Not very happy! I have dined here several times and never had an issue. Food was great atmosphere was great but after seeing the extra charge on my credit card the service gets the lowest rating!! Will think twice about using a card if I ever go back!

Not our first time to Tokyo Steakhouse, but probably our last. We ordered 2 apps that were pretty good. 2 sushi rolls and 2 entrees. The service was so flat, just like our soda. When he came to get our order we mentioned that the soda was flat. He looked at us like we were nuts and said nothing. We actually had to gesture for him to take the soda away. Then the apps came pretty quickly one after the other. But, we got no plates. We ordered dumplings with the dipping sauce gets messy next we had wing; pretty messy and oh what to do with the bones. So finally when he came with the sushi we asked for plates. Oh and I asked if they had any other than soda like iced tea or something. Yep iced tea unsweetened. Great thanks came pretty quickly and left quickly. Oh excuse me can I have sweetener.
Idk if this guy was sad or troubled. And we took that into consideration left a good enough tip. But let’s remember what tips are for. Ready: To insure proper service!

This experience was amazing. The staff was very friendly and attentive. This was my 1st time experiencing hibachi with my love when we ventured here. The Food Was sooo delicious. My chicken and shrimp were cooked to perfection. Also the vegetables were sooo yummy. The salad was dressed very well, and the soup was hot and delicious tasted like chicken noodles soup without the noodles lol The Volcano drink was amazing it had cherries and oranges slice in it and nice mixed drink. Also they set the alcohol on fire you could either let it burn out, put it in the drink or drink it separately. It was an amazing night and My night was worth it also the cook does cool tricks with the cooking utensils and with eggs. It’s was one of the best dates ever❤️. Definitely a must visit!

Great Japanese Steakhouse located just outside of Rehoboth Beach in Delaware. The place can be busy, so it’s best to make reservations in advance. The server was very good and was constantly checking in on us. The cook was friendly, funny and made the food perfectly. The steak, chicken, and shrimp were prepared very well. The quality of food was very good, and the portions were huge. We had seven (7) people in our party, and everyone took a lot of food home with them. The prices are on the high side, but due to the large portions, it is definitely worth it.

The waiter was excellent. The hibachi chef was entertaining. The rice was undercooked and crunchy. The chicken was overcooked to the point of being tough and dried out. The shrimp was chewy and tough. Very disappointed. Won’t return.

RESERVATIONS RECOMMENDED! $$. A favorite hibachi restaurant and frequent visit of mine. I would recommend this location for any family outing or special occasion. The unique atmosphere and friendly staff are just half to the personal touches that each chef brings to the table during each visit. You will likely never have the same meal twice do to these personal touches but I promise you will not be displeased as the consistency of how each meat and vegetable is cooked is always on par! One of my favorite and unique spins is the use of onion soup over traditional miso. My only request to the restaurant is that I would love to see a squid combination for hibachi!
