We had a great time! The food tasted great and the portion sizes were huge! The gyoza and Teppanyaki were tasty!

It is a nice Japanese-style steakhouse. The main specialty of this restaurant, as you guessed it from the name, is steak. Of course, without steak, they serve other meals, such as sushi and sashimi, and even grilled shrimp. My visit to this establishment was in June of 2023, when I was visiting my relatives in High Desert. I decided to visit this restaurant, and have my dinner in this establishment. Oh boy, I was not disappointed. Usually, the place is packed. That day, they had available seats, to dine-in. The meals were delicious, and they were prepared in front of my eyes, the main meals, that is. The waitress was quick, helpful, and attentive. The atmosphere, too, was neat and welcoming. Of course, it could get pricey. If my memory serves me well, I had spent around $80.00 with the tip. So, if anyone wants to eat well in this restaurant, I would recommend to visit only if there are discretionary funds available. Otherwise, I would recommend to order light meals. Still, this is a worthy restaurant to visit in the High Desert!

THIS is the worst place to eat ! The cook was sloppy with the food thrown all over table. Messed up the orders. All food was super Salty, rice was good. Can’t mess up rice. Noodles were skinny like angel hair soggy noodles. tea was tasteless, soup was cold and tasted godawful. SALAD WAS SO salty had to add lemon to it. watered down sauces . This is not true Japanese this is fake teppanyaki hibachi! The family regrets ever going there! NEVER AGAIN!

Definition of mid. I got take out, they put the soup in a thin plastic drink cup. The prices listed online are wrong. Lemon seeds all mixed in the food. I get the feeling that the owner should stop cutting corners if he wants to succeed.

Chef was horrible! He had a hard time making our food obviously new but should be trained better before cooking in front of guest it was total disaster! No show or tricks just awkward as he cooked. I felt bad for him it’s definitely not his fault. The owner is 100% to blame this place is not as good as it used to be disappointing experience that was $200 for 4 adults and a mandatory tip was added to the bill. Don’t waste your time and money

I believe this is the only Japanese restaurant with a teppan table in the high desert. We have always enjoyed the little show and the food is very good! The decor is authentic inside which adds to the experience.

Not too shabby! Friendly staff, great service & tasty tappan. I’m not a fan of seafood but their sushi looked pretty good too. Went for lunch on a Saturday and we were seated right away, no crowd whatsoever!

Great Place to enjoy with the family. It’s a show when they are cooking. And it is just on loving interaction with you’re kids. My children are very picky eaters But they were pleased with the cooking show. And the food it was actually such a delicious meal from the soup. The salad the meat was cooked on point. The rise was delicious. Everything was just great. Thank you for this business in the high desert. It is really hard sometimes to just drive down the hill. Just to find a good place to eat. It is one of these restaurants. Where you come back over and over again, I definitely encourage you to come and try them out. They have different options. Keep friendly handicap friendly. It is a family environment.

Always an experience, traditional habachi style dinner cooked in front of you. Staff is pleasant and helps as much as possible. The restaurant has a wide variety of selection. So much like Benihana without driving that far or paying that much.
