So, My Son-in-law bought dinner tonight. We ordered 2 large salmon bowls, 1 regular salmon bowl, and an order of spring rolls. It was almost $67! And never so disappointed! I would like to say, while still at the store, a gentlemen did ATTEMPT to fix the missing veggies on 2 of the bowls, ended up still not being correct, and he did give me 3 cookies for the mistakes but things still ended up being WRONG and the amount of veggies was PATHETIC! The picture shown is of my salmon bowl, it was SUPPOSED to have broccoli, carrots, spinach, asparagus, water chestnuts, extra veggies of sweet onions & red peppers. Toppings of green onions & jalapeños. As you can see, that’s NOT the case. PLUS, only 3 pieces of asparagus, 4 spinach leaves, 3 pieces of broccoli, NO sweet onions & NO red pepper & NO water chestnuts! My daughter’s only had 1 piece of broccoli, and my Son-in-law’s, which he PAID an extra $3 for veggies, were also incorrect AND very skimpy on the veggies. Needless to say, even with 2 attempts to correct the mistakes, NONE of us felt like we got our monies worth! HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT, and a very upsetting $70 dinner.

Well if you like unseasoned food neatly places in a bowl this is your go to place. There wasn’t an option to add seasoning to any of it. It was very odd but it looked like stir fry. They have salt and pepper packets and a variety of different sauces you have to mix in yourself. I do not Recommend the steak or the eggs. The steak is very chewy and eggs look like they came from a carton or bag. Not great. Service was great they were very friendly and helpful. Make sure to check your order they forgot my water chestnuts

The staff here was incredible. I wish I got their names to recognize them individually but we greatly appreciated their patience and helpfulness with our kids who were acting a bit wild. Everyone was so friendly and it was great coming back to an old favorite we hadn’t been to in a while. A healthier eating out option that is good portions for a great value.

I loved this location and the Tokyo Joe’s app was my go to when ordering online. I ordered through the app a week ago like I normally do, when my order was delivered that day, they had gave me the wrong plate of food that contained nuts when I specifically ordered my food without nuts! My receipt was what I exactly ordered so I called this location to ask for a refund or a new order, I calmly explained my situation to the employee. The girl who was on the phone was very rude and insisted her manager was not there when I did not even ask for one, she also insisted to call back later in the day and I explained that I was not able to since I was just as busy at work (which is a nut free zone). She screamed through the phone multiple times telling me she could not do anything about it and she finally got a manager on the phone. The manager was also very rude and “was in the process of reimbursing my money,” I thanked him and he hung up the phone without confirming he had issued one and did not answer my question about the process time of the refund. Also I made 3 phone calls and waited for help and was not answered till the 4th time with enough time in between. It’s been 7 days since and I have not received a single refund of $24 of a regular bowl that contained only chicken, white rice and nuts; I ordered white chicken, white rice, 3 types of veggies and extra sauce that did not contain nuts. I ended up with a $12 nut bowl instead 🙁

I will definitely not go back this location!

I love coming here to get a good bite to eat. The staff is always so friendly. Not just to me but my kids as well. They are always positive when we come in and they always listen to my kids talk and they make it a point to interact with them as well. They make sure we are happy and have all we need!

The avocado was brown, there was also little black pieces that were in my brown rice. Also cross contamination is happening as I never ordered carrots or edamame, which there are 1 or 2 pieces of. Luckily I’m not allergic.

Good service. I tried the new Curry Street Noodle bowl. Spicy. Needs more chicken in it. Noodles just average. I would not order this item next time. I like their rice better than the noodles. So I would go back to the building your bowl on my next visit.

On October 3, 2025, between 5:00–6:00 PM, I visited the Mississippi Ave. location with my mother and children. When we arrived, we stood behind another family who waited nearly 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged them. After their order was finally taken, the staff turned away and prioritized online orders, leaving my family and me standing at the register for an additional 20 minutes without so much as a greeting.

We voiced frustration about leaving several times, yet no employee took notice or made any attempt to assist. After 30 minutes of being ignored, we walked out and spent our money elsewhere.

I cannot comment on the food, portion size, packaging, or cleanliness because we were never given the opportunity to order. This was not my first negative experience at this location, but it will certainly be my last. Years ago, this store had employees who took pride in their work and cared about customers. Now, it seems customer service has completely collapsed.

A restaurant that cannot even greet families at the counter has already lost them.
