The wait time for this place was nearly 30 minutes, which is fine and wasn’t an issue for us. The problem was that once we were seated, it took almost 45 minutes for the chef to finally come out to cook for us. The couple in front of us was about ready to leave, and they had been sitting down for longer than we had. I ordered a platter of sushi, and as I bit into it, I found a fish bone while chewing. My friend had ordered a side of the dinosaur roll, which never came out to our table. We couldn’t even complain to the waitress about the fish bone or the missing sushi since she didn’t even attend to our table until we were ready for our checks. When she finally came around, we asked for the dinosaur roll to be brought out and she claimed she “forgot.” Once it was brought out, it didn’t even match the description on the menu at all. It had no F.F. which was the only reason why it was ordered in the first place, and it was DROWNING in soy sauce so it wasn’t even edible. Very disappointing experience after many visits here, and we won’t be coming back.

This place was really cute and looked promising considering the reviews however it fell short of all expectations. The food my friend received was covered in an inedible amount of sesame seeds so she sent it back as she ordered hibachi which isn’t even supposed to come with sesame seeds and then my food came out…the udon was completely unseasoned and the chicken was RAW! We thought it was fish until we cut into a piece. We sent that back as well, cancelled her remake, tipped the server and left. Obviously don’t recommend the server did say the cook was training but not cooking chicken to temp is dangerous and unacceptable. The manager didn’t even come out and apologize but at least the server did.

We both got the steak teppanyaki which was just about inedible. The sauce was reminiscent of low end Chinese takeout. The texture on the “steak” was awful – spongey. Some cheap stew meat would’ve been better.

A good hibachi dine in place for families, group of friends, and /or meeting new people if u want too. Chicken hibachi dinner is my favorite and both the chef and waiters can make a great conversation time. Enjoy!

We were seated right away. The chef was cooking for seven people. The rice portions are HUGE. My noodle portion was much smaller than the rice and it cost a good bit extra. The food tasted really good!! I loved the scallops and shrimp. The veggies are great and I LOVE the ginger dressing on the salad. Our chef didn’t do many tricks, didn’t toss shrimp in our mouth, wasn’t talkative. I wish he has more personality/ did more of the “fun” things you typically see when eating hibachi. We were seated towards the end of the seven people and I did notice I got less scallops and chicken than the others. I wish at least for the scallops, since you’re paying more, that you got a certain number. It was overall a good experience and the food was super tasty! I will definetly come back. The only other negative is that the chef was messy (see photo) and food was flung everywhere. I really didn’t like eating in such a messy environment.

Very disappointed ! Wh have been going to this restaurant since 2018! Have shared wedding anniversaries, birthdays, and just family get together, not to mention the numerous takeout orders and lunch orders! Took home our usual order, and an Cali roll to get home with our food covered with sesame seeds! In the 8 years thayvwe have been eating from this location I have never ever had sesame seeds on our food! Called and spoke onto who I assumed was the manager inky to later find out it was an assistant mgr.. no problem. Asked if they were under new ownership, was told yes, just wanted to say hey please let your customers know that new owners. Possible new changes! Got hung up on, the was informed that always had the food been covered with sesame seeds, including the sushi rolls (which mine did not have a single one! And sent photo to prove!) Was told I could bring the food back, but was already home! Then they said I could come back and bring the food another day! Wow! I was not expecting a refund, but some type of compensation as We are loyal diners of this establishment! Then proceded to hear a discussion between the assistant mgr and who I really am to assume was the manager, and listen to them basically berating me and just being plain rude! I finally was offered a 10% discount on my next order, but seriously doubt we will be eating or dining here again! Very sad because it was our favorite place to eat! Sorry Tokyo, you just lost some loyal customers!

Very busy place but the food and staff are great! Price is good too since I had the salmon and steak combo for $35 bucks. Parking area isn’t large so be prepared to park next door and walk over.

Dined here for a birthday celebration. Decent crowd and atmosphere. Chef and waitress were very attentive. Food was good and great portions, just a tad bit salty. Wasn’t overpowering though. I’ll return for another celebration.

Love this place. I have ate here for 10 plus years but today during lunch as they dump the rice from the bowl to the cook 2 ROACHES crawled from the rice. I’ve never experienced something so disgusting. Really sad experience.

Took a while for someone to greet us after we were seated. My initial order came out incorrect. The California rolls were bland, I don’t recommend at all. The hibachi chicken seemed extremely salty. The hibachi shrimp however was better. There was a hair in my plate, they addressed the issue and made me a new plate which was good.
