A regular lunch stop for me and have visited a few times from dinner. I am impressed by the overall experience. The food is of very good quality, and the pricing is quite reasonable. Their lunch menu is excellent, offering a great selection of dishes to choose from. Dinner is equally satisfying, combining the same high quality with good prices. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot for both lunch and dinner.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for delicious food at fair prices!

Tokyo House in Princeton, Texas, is absolutely fantastic and hands-down one of the best Japanese spots around! From the moment you walk in, the vibe is welcoming and cozy—perfect for a casual dinner, date night, or just treating yourself to some incredible sushi and hibachi. They keep things efficient with quick seating (even more now with their recent expansion), so there’s more time to dive into the delicious menu.

The food is consistently outstanding. The sushi is super fresh, with perfectly seasoned rice and generous cuts of fish that melt in your mouth. We devoured the spicy crab crunch, Philadelphia, and salmon avocado rolls—everything tasted like it was made with real care and quality ingredients. I was always more of a miso soup guy, but they’ve converted me to their tasty onion soup—seriously, give it a try! Their hibachi options are flavorful and spot-on in preparation (no big theatrical show, but the kitchen nails it every time). Portions are generous, prices are more than fair for the quality, and the menu has something for everyone—from classic rolls to creative specialties and super affordable lunch specials.

But what truly elevates the experience to legendary status is our regular server, Lingling Judy. Without exaggeration, she’s the best server I’ve ever had anywhere. Judy is attentive from start to finish—checking in just the right amount, remembering our preferences, suggesting perfect pairings and rolls based on what we like, and doing it all with the warmest, most genuine smile and energy. She makes us feel like VIPs, cracking little jokes, refilling drinks proactively, and sharing fun menu insights. Her service is flawless, fast, and full of personality—she’s the kind who turns a good meal into an unforgettable one. If you get seated in her section, consider yourself lucky!

We always leave stuffed, happy, and already planning the next visit. Tokyo House isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a true go-to spot in Princeton that delivers every time, especially with stars like Lingling Judy on the team. 10/10, highly recommend—go now and ask for Judy! You won’t be disappointed. ✨

Great Dine-in. Horrible Take-out. My fiancé and i have been coming to Tokyo House for the last year and a had of us living in princeton. Dine-in has always been the quality amazing food we love. Our typical order includes the Tokyo House roll, spicy edamame, and the crispy spicy tuna. Delicious. However EVERY TIME we order take out. we are left disappointed. it’s one thing to miss out on the quality of food just from the nature of it being sushi. but it’s another thing to cheap out on quantity. Every single time we’ve ordered take out we’ve felt like our portions are smaller, with still the same price point. Our favorite appetizer, the tuna, was at its most embarrassing state this time around, as pictured. what’s up with that?!? a thin slab of tuna on the tiniest block of rice. as for the tokyo house rolls and edamame, are we really out here rationing the sauce? and then giving an excessive amount of condiments ??? We will continue dining in, but we believe it is pretty unfair how far quality and quantity is decreased just for ordering online. If you ONLY order online, how are you supposed to know what you’re missing out on. take out here ends up giving the impression of cat food…

Very nice place inside, the rolls are delicious! And I love how small they cut them, they actually fit in your mouth. I had the shrimp crunch, the Hamachi jalapeno roll and a creme brulee. My favorite was the Hamachi roll!!

Our server Lexi was great. She seemed to be serving most of the restaurant herself. The spicy garlic edamame is a nice balance of sweet and spicy. The Ahi Tower was delicious. All of the food was great. My steak was overcooked but they quickly remade it. I didn’t have a cocktail but they have an extensive drink menu. I will definitely be back in the future.

Tokyo House is a new Sushi restaurant in the Princeton area on the 380. My wife and I decided to visit after reading the recommendations from our neighbors on Next door. Glad we did, we have since been here twice now.
Though the parking lot is small and appears crowded, we found the restaurant was not. We were seated on both occasions almost as soon as we walked through the front door.
The Sushi we ate was fresh and very good (try the Ahi Tower), and there was a minimal wait for it all to arrive at our table. The waitstaff were friendly and courteous, and they took good care of us. The prices seemed fair for what we ordered. The only gripe I have is I can not eat it at one sitting and the lack of Octopus and/or Squid rolls (seriously, ye need more Squid and Octopus.
All in all, as long as all of the above remains constant, we will continue to make Tokyo House our go to Sushi place.
GREAT JOB!!
Update 10/18/2024 – we came here for my sushi breakfast on my birthday. I tried an off the menu item; the Ralph roll (pictured) this was suggested by our waitress. Oh my goodness, if you love spicy, this is the roll for you.
Speaking of our waitress, Lexi, you ROCK!!! Thank you again for the birthday dessert. It was yummy!!
UPDATE 6/18/2025 – Shout out to Corinne, our server, today, for giving us the history and origin of the Raph Roll. Something she wasn’t sure they served when we ordered it. Thank you.
