Great wonderful sushi, food and service! One of my families favorites with very personable employees and delicious sushi. Great place to stop by for a yummy and quick bite. Small dine in space but with plenty of seating available to enjoy. Very clean and well kept. Recommend!

I placed a call-in order for teriyaki chicken and hibachi steak. When I walked in to pay and pick up I was not greeted or acknowledged at all, to the point I didn’t even know if I was supposed to be talking to someone else. She then handed my receipt so I could see the total and I asked if it came with white sauce while handing her money and she still didn’t acknowledge me, just gave me change and I left. When I got to my car I opened it to see if it did come with white sauce and I was very surprised by the teriyaki chicken- it does not look like any teriyaki chicken bowl I have ever ordered. When I got home I tried my steak from my steak bowl and it was so bad! I don’t know if they boil the meat or what but it was just not good! I didn’t even try the rice and white sauce because I can’t get past the taste and smell of the steak.

It was horrible. Me & my beautiful girlfriend went in to try it out and we stood at the door for a minute or two the waiter looked at us like we were ghost. She didn’t welcome us she just said we close soon and acted like she had a n attitude. So we just up & left!

I love sneaking off to this place by myself. All the food I’ve tried is very good. My favorite it the gyoza soup and I add noodles to it. And the Tampora shrimp roll with cream cheese. Can’t never go wrong when eating here.

Disappointing experience at this restaurant recently. I ordered the steak hibachi for $17, but the meat was rubbery and inedible. I politely asked to exchange it for vegetables and offered to return the meat. I was surprised that I was still charged for the full meal and never received the vegetables after waiting. The lady is super rude, btw.

Food is good the owners are very rude to me and my wife every time we go in to eat sushi. We are always very nice to them and always leave a tip until about our third trip, that was the visit that there were no more tips for them. The lady came out and saw it was us and was very impolite to my wife and myself. We went ahead and ordered when we should have gotten up to walk out. That trip didn’t pay a tip based off of how rude they are and went back just to make sure it wasn’t I’m having a bad day thing and sure enough attitude came back and my wife had one back with her. Never go there to eat again

I wanted to try a different sushi restaurant in the area so that I could find out what different types/tastes of sushi I might like. I really enjoy Jay’s 108 there in Kinston. This is a restaurant I can go without. The ingredients were not fresh just based off of texture alone.. Taste.. That’s a whole different story. I didn’t feel welcomed honestly from lack of greeting and conversation. The only thing I did enjoy was the design/art on the walls. I love feeling immersed in different cultures. I’m afraid to finish the food due to it not being fresh.. The woman I who assisted me insisted in a annoyed fashion that she had put chopsticks in the bag when I came back inside for them but there wasn’t any anywhere in the bag nor were there napkins. I’ve always wondered why this place looks so faded out and abandoned.. I see why now. I had the dynamite and eel avocado roll.

First ever experience with my 7 yr old granddaughter, we ordered sushi and was not disappointed. Im very particular about where i eat sushi and by far hands down some of the best ive ever had!! And they were very surprised that my granddaughter wanted sushi at all! Very polite and made fresh too!! Will be going back again!
