Please go to Shang hai Chinese restaurant next door, it’s way better than this place. I know it’s not hibachi but this place genuinely made me sad to eat at. If I could give no stars I would. Food was flavorless, I got pineapple chicken and lomein. I also got Philadelphia sushi. The chicken was fried, but was so soggy and bland. The lomein was the most plain noodles I’ve ever tasted, it didn’t even have basic seasonings. The salmon on my sushi was brown and looked unappetizing. The yum yum sauce was probably homemade but didn’t taste like the average yum yum sauce you’d get normally. I wanted to try something new, won’t be making that mistake again.:(

Unfortunately felt like our take our order fell flat. The cucumber salad looks like they took the cucumber from the rolls and poured soy sauce on it, no intention. All the rolls we ordered were relatively small and dry, with more simple rolls only being 6 pieces for the price. The roe was low quality.
I don’t typically like fried roles, but if you do, the spicy crunchy roll was good.
Overall unlikely to order again.

I am not a picky eater at all and I have never written a bad review, especially on a mom and pop type of place but this has to be the worst hibachi I have ever had. Walking in, it smelled disgusting and the restaurant was dirty. The chicken had absolutely no flavor and some pieces weren’t done. The rice had no flavor but was a dark brown color like it was old. The yum yum sauce tasted like there was a ridiculous amount of sugar in it and very runny. Oh and the salad had the ginger dressing on it, which was also almost a black color, and the lettuce was soggy and not edible. So I basically wasted $20 on food that I can’t even eat.

The stake was undercooked and chewy. I would suggest you let them know your recommendation on stake level. The Lo mein was flavorful, the fried rice could have used some more flavor. The sushi was bomb. I would have to try them again.

Friendly workers, very nice specialty sushi menu. The menu is large. The prices are a good value for the money. The restaurant is small but clean. I imagine that they do a lot of take out orders, although they do offer dine in and have several booths set up. There is a television. Drinks are bottles or cans only. Overall, i enjoyed my meal here.

New ownership. Wife and I will miss the old owners, such a great family, hardworking. The change of ownership means change of quality or quantity of dishes, will have a different taste.

Exactly what you want when you crave Japanese takeout. I got the steak teriyaki and it was amazing. The steak was tender and flavorful. The vegetables were cooked just right (not mushy). I would drink the broth all day. The Gyoza appetizer is lightly fried and is filled just right. And the sesame balls are the perfect light dessert. I would tell you about the Super Dragon Roll…but my wife ate it before I could try it. She says it was really good.

Presentation was ok, rice very pale & the flavor, there wasn’t any! Veggies were fine, bland for the type of veggies I was expecting based on this type of meal. The sushi lived up to its name, super crunchy but the batter tasted like old/dirty oil. I paid extra for yum-yum sauce but it was watered down!
