I usually enjoy coming here, but the service yesterday at the Hardscrabble location was very unacceptable. While I was at the counter reading and asking about the cost of adding the Steak Bowl, drink, and Salad deal, the woman with the short hair working at the counter simply walked away from me mid-sentence. I felt completely ignored and disrespected. I always enjoy the food and a big fan of it, but this infuriating experience makes me reach to a point of taking my business elsewhere.
To make matters worse, when it came to pay, she refused to allow a split payment between two cards. It happened to me so many times when I come to the establishment. Being ignored is one thing, but being met with lack of service flexibility is another. It’s very unprofessional to walk away from a paying customer and then be unhelpful with the transactions. I like the food, but the attitude at the front corners makes it not worth the visit. I hope management trains their staff on basic courtesy and how to use their own payment system.

My food was hot and ready when I picked it up. Three stars cuz it just wasn’t good. It wasn’t nasty just to me was very much lacking in flavor. Good size for the price.

Very good food! The only hibachi I like to eat around here! Sometimes their phone doesn’t work, so you have to come in and order and wait for your food. Other than that they have pretty good service. They switched from the bigger portions of the white sauce to smaller portions. Atmosphere is pretty good. They will modify your order perfect for you, if you’d like.

I ordered takeout. I got the chicken and shrimp hibachi with 2 spring rolls. I was extremely hungry but not 3rd world country starving. It was my first meal of the day at 3:30pm after a wack haircut at Sport clips. The service was very fast. The person upfront was prompt, friendly, and about the business. I don’t need the world when you are serving me just dope food! I went home and enjoyed my meal. There was a lot of it so two other family members ate some. Great taste, good service, big portions, and easy parking.

I’ve been a consistent customer of this location for the last two years and I must say I like this place. When I submit an online order, the order is ready by the time I arrive, 10 minutes after it was placed. The food is always delicious, I can never go wrong with hibachi steak, medium cooked with teriyaki sauce and fried rice. Staff is consistent, concise and timely. Definitely recommend for quick hibachi-style eating.

Never have to wait for a call in order. Food always ready in 10mins like they say. My ankle broke and I’m on crutches , lady came from behind counter to help me out the door with my food. That wad very nice. Great service, food always fresh and hot

My past experiences here at Tokyo Grill has been great until 9-9-22! I called in an order for the shrimp bowl! While it tasted fine, 40 minutes after consuming it, I’ve became extremely sick to my stomach! I had to pull over 5 times vomiting before making it home. Once home, extreme stomach pain along with more vomiting and diarrhea! Because of this experience, I will no longer order from this particular restaurant!
