Awesome little intimate venue for live shows! Parking is limited, may have to park down the street. Friendly staff. Indoor/outdoor area with seating in both areas. Lots of fun. Will definitely return for more Live Music and “dancing”

Stopped in by happen-stance. Great vibe…old dive atmosphere. Bartender (Garrett) was super-nice. Drinks were above average. Place offered tri-tip sandwich (potluck style…as in for free, excllent taste).

Highly recommend. Hidden gem in Los Osos. Definitely coming back.

This is an old-time fun bar/saloon. In addition to well crafted drinks, a wide assortment of draft and container beers and a few food options. Filled with a variety of patrons, friendly staff and also, two pool tables and a free shuffle board table. There is also an assortment of games like cribbage for us to use. Sweet Water Saloon is a fun place to stop in and have a drink. They sell T- Shirts and hoodies. Plenty of parking, easy to walk to and conveniently located on Los Osos Valley Road, in the seaside town of Los Osos. Perfect stop before or after your drive to Montaña de Oro!

Tarah is a great bartender and we love the low key atmosphere for a couple of afternoon beers. Cool local spot

Great little saloon in Los Osos. Enough beards and tattoos to feel legit without feeling *koff*…hipster. We were there for NYE and the cover band had a good mix of hits to keep the crowd going. Oasis, Tom Petty, Cage the Elephant, etc, but a request for a Cure song was met with disdain for some reason… The bartender I had – I regret I didn’t get her name – she was attentive and knowledgeable. I ordered an Old Fashioned and was treated with some wonderful mixology and was served one of the best cocktails I’ve had in a long time. The second one I ordered was that much better. The ambiance was great with a pool table here, a tabletop shuffleboard here, and Rockin New Years Eve on a wide variety of screens throughout. What food I had was (unbelievably) some of the best fish tacos I’ve had in a long time. Worth a visit for sure.

While at Sweet Springs Saloon in Los Osos on the night of July 10, I noticed a Black male bald with a beard who repeatedly stared at me and my wife throughout the evening. I attempted to wave at him in a friendly way, but he didn’t acknowledge it. This happened more than once, and his continued staring made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I got the sense he might not have liked me, possibly because I’m white, though I can’t say that for certain. After feeling uneasy, I decided to leave with my wife. Just wanted to report this in case others have experienced something similar.

Sincerely, Eric W

This place has changed drastically since I remember it in the 90″s
There are pool tables and a newer style jukebox, dune evenings with karaoke and outdoor seating.
The staff were nice and got drinks pretty quickly.

A decent selection of tap beer and cider.

Customer satisfaction doesn’t seem to be a priority. Personalities behind the bar appear to be about positioning for control of something beyond my understanding save for 2. The bar itself is clean and appealing and the bathrooms are a far cry from the old Springs. Drinks are overpriced for the area but I think a visit is worthwhile if for nothing else, comparisons to where you want to spend your time and money.

Terrible! I’ve been there a few times. It’s empty, it stinks, the service is really bad and the sound quality is not good for live music. A couple of the bartenders are cool but the main bartender with the glasses is extremely rude to customers on a regular basis.I’ve seen people ask for a non alcoholic beverage and him tell them they can wait in a rude tone while he chit chats for 5 minutes. I’m very surprised he still has his job with how bad his attitude is. If you’re in town you might as well go to the Ale House, Nardonies or the Merry Maker where the service is good and the people are respectful to paying customers.
