A lovely spot for sushi in Northfield. My friend has been coming here since before the pandemic, and luckily they’re still open! We came with a group of 9 and were seated immediately.
The sushi isn’t the best quality I’ve ever had, with smaller ounts of fish in each piece, but they’re still yummy. The spicy salmon dumplings were amazing, although they were more of a roll wrapped in avocado instead of seaweed.
Service was lovely and the food came out quickly.

This is the best spot in Northfield for fresh, delicious, and fast Asian food. Their sushi is hands down the best not just in town, but in the entire state. The quality of the ingredients is always great, and the restaurant is consistently busy with people who love their food. I absolutely love this place and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great Asian cuisine!!!!

Had a great time eating at Tokyo Grill. Even though it was busy, we still got seated quickly. Service was excellent and the food was delicious and came out faster than expected. The atmosphere was very nice and we had zero complaints. Highly recommend!

First time coming to this restaurant so I didn’t know what to expect. When I walked in it was fairly empty with only a couple other tables seated. My first thought was oh maybe the food isn’t going to be mind blowing. Well… I was wrong! Started off with the crab and avocado sushi and potstickers, absolutely blown away, best Japanese appetizers I’ve ever eaten. We ordered the New York steak hibachi and the chicken bento box, we were amazed with how everything tasted. Rice was flavorful, both proteins cooked beautifully and moist. Food was so good we had to order some California rolls to go as well!! Definitely recommend this place 🙂

During the pandemic and again recently when they had to close their dining room, the owners could have given up. Instead, they kept serving takeout, and I’ve watched them hustle with limited staff, serving their people.
The food is always fresh and delicious. Their sushi is excellent, beautifully prepared with quality ingredients. Whether it’s sushi rolls, hibachi, or anything else on the menu, everything is flavorful and made with care.
What keeps us coming back is how welcoming the owners are. No matter how tough things get, they greet us with genuine warmth.
Tokyo Grill is more than a restaurant. It’s a place that cares about its people. If you’re in Northfield, please support them. They’ve earned it.

The food here is absolutely wonderful, and the service is very friendly. This is a restaurant one might easily overlook. From the outside it appears like a fast food restaurant – mainly because it’s a renovated Wendy’s. But the inside is nice and comfortable, and the sushi is outstanding. I’m picky about where I eat, especially Sushi. This restaurant is top notch – don’t overlook it!

Best freaking sushi of my entire life. Highly recommend this place. It’s kind of a sleeper restaurant but totally worth. Don’t think their sides are lacking either that stuff was fire. Edamame cooked to perfection and crab Rangoon was heavenly. Definitely will make the 8 hour drive from Missouri just to come here again ‼️‼️‼️

This place is simply excellent. Both the sushi menu and the cooked options are great. My personal favorite is Yaki Soba, very flavorful stir-fried noodle dish with tasty vegetables and protein options.
