What a truly wonderful restaurant! Lovely decor and atmosphere, prompt and efficient staff, quick bar and kitchen staff too. Perfect for a night out with family, friends, or something special. My guests and I enjoyed a variety of their hot and cold appetizers. Truly spot on flavors, textures, and presentation. Best spanakopita I’ve ever had. Our mains were truly superb! Some of the tastiest family recipes I’ve had in quite a while. Just a perfect meal with plenty to take home to enjoy the next day too! Please do yourself a favor and visit this gem of a restaurant. (And if any of the Thassos restaurant family would like to open a second location in Cincinnati, OH, we would excitedly welcome you with open arms!)

I often go to Thassos for dinner and takeout, and they are truly one of the most consistent restaurants around. I have found the quality to always be top-tier every single visit, the food is fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions. You can tell they really care about maintaining high standards.

Recently, I also ordered catering for my son’s birthday, and it was fantastic. We had mini chicken kebobs, mini pork kebobs, gyros, tirokafteri, and melitzanosalata. Everything was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and a huge hit with our guests. The meats were tender and juicy, and the dips were authentic and delicious.

Beyond the food, the hospitality from the owners is exceptional. They are always warm, welcoming, and genuinely appreciative of their customers, which makes the experience even better. The location is also very convenient, with plenty of free parking.

Whether dining in, ordering takeout, or catering an event, I highly recommend Thassos Greek Restaurant. Consistent quality, amazing hospitality, and great convenience every time!

Octopus appetizer and lambs are yummy. They did well. However, do not order the red snapper . I wouldn’t thought someone could ruin the tasty fish like that.
Definitely not worth the M.P. $60.
Kudos to our server though, he filet it well! But he shouldn’t have bathed it in butter. It ruined the fish for me. Sadly it was on my birthday

I Had high anticipations for this place. I do not live in the area, but come down this area quite often.
I made a reservation in line for a party at two For a Thursday night. Arrived at 6:45 to pretty much an empty restaurant.
Upon walking in and giving him my name, I asked my girlfriend if she wanted a high table or a booth cause both were open. She stated booth, in which I asked the receptionist who was the owner for a booth. Where I pointed to two empty booze. In that room that customer is already in it. He said yes to a booth, but that room is closed and he brought us to a back room where we were literally the only people back there all night long. I noticed that he seated other Couples after us in the main dining room , which was allegedly closed.
We sat in the desk, seating area, all alone, which was odd and not very warming. I usually don’t think this way, but on this instance, I had no other reason, but to think this way; I am a white male, and my female is Cuban with very dark skin. I only say that due to he said other people in the main dining room after we arrived. Very odd.
The service was all right nothing exceptional
The kebabs that my girlfriend ordered, she absolutely loved. I ordered. Spanakopita And it was actually nothing special. I’ve had it before in Greektown in Chicago and it was one of my favorite meals..

I think if I want Greek food again, I’ll go downtown Chicago on Halstead

OUR server was absolutely amazing and professional at his job.
He advised us great dishes and always checked in with us.

THE DOORMAN gave me a terrible experience, started teaching me and my children how to open the door( he said he was a professional about opening doors, and I need to listen to him)
Terrible way of treating people.

Other than that, food was okay. Nothing special..and way too salty.

Moussaka tasted like apple pie or something. Very weird sweet and sour taste …

Smelts were pretty good, if you add lots of lemon juice.

Chickpea soup was pretty tasty, we even ordered two cups.

P.S

Thank you for the experience!

I’m Greek, my wife and I were in area and decided to check out Thassos for the first time. We are very keen and experienced with Greek cooking, and enjoying dining at Greek restaurants all over the world. Our experience tonight was awful. Service and the delivery of serving didn’t make sense to us. Sardines were rock hard and couldn’t go down. Soup was salty that my wife could only put down two teaspoons and set it to the side. We had to ask for salad after 30 minutes of placing our appetizer order. We were hesitant of ordering an entree or plate, so we ordered a meatball appetizer without tomato sauce. 4 small super salty mini ping pong balls. Super disappointed. The host, or maybe owner, was not looking and feeling the energy that of a host must obtain and provide to his customers. Very low energy and made us feel like he was not happy to be there. First and last…..

The atmosphere is beautiful and upscale. Unfortunately without the perfect service and food. It was good not great. The pork kebab, lamb with potatoes and the salmon were dry and lacked seasoning. The serving fork and knife were covered in grease for the saganaki.
On the plus side, dolmades and rice pudding were delicious.

I had a wonderful experience at this Greek restaurant. Since I was dining alone, sitting at the bar was a perfect and comfortable choice.

We had a family birthday dinner at Thassos tonight, party of eight (ages 10 to 76 and everywhere in between). The service was impeccable…warm and friendly, helpful but not overbearing. Every person we interacted with was great. A few of us ordered entrees, but several of us shared appetizers – every dish we ordered was delicious and cooked perfectly. Great wine list, too. Highly recommend.

As a Greek, I don’t understand the good reviews. The food is so meh. We ordered a bunch of different plates, but none of them were good. Sliced lamb was dry. Spanakopita tasted sour. Saganaki was salty. Pork kebabs were dry. Gigantes didn’t really have a flavor besides tomato. ( there was more, but can’t think of what else we had)
I was unimpressed.
