This place did not disappoint! Portion size was great, food was great and very flavorful. Didn’t take a long time to get. I think this is the best hibatchi I’ve ever had.

Was looking for a new place today for lunch close to my work and this place came up. Went in and it’s one of the cleanest restaurants I’ve ever been in. Man working the counter is the owner and he is so nice and helpful! You can see them preparing the food while you wait. Prices are great, portions are big even for lunch! Food was fresh, tasty, and I have zero complaints. Support your local restaurants! Owner said they opened in September and I see a bright future for this place. I will definitely frequent on lunch breaks

I had a great experience at Tokyo Express! The food was fresh, flavorful, and served quickly. The hibachi chicken tasted really good and the portions were generous for the price. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or a nice dinner, Tokyo Express is definitely worth a visit. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I got the Hibachi Dinner. Unfortunately they aren’t doing Filet for the Steak, but are now using Ribeye. The Meal was delicious and they give you your monies worth. I would definitely recommend going here.

Polite staff and good food. I had a choice between fast food and trying this place. I loved the hibachi lunch special and shrimp tempura. I had lots of veggies and didn’t feel the regret I get from eating McDonald’s.

Get up and go right now! This small restaurant serves some of the best Asian food in the Bham metro area! Think hibachi, ramen, pho, and lo mein, all under one roof. And let me just say, everything was on point! The hibachi was cooked perfectly with that signature sizzle, and the ramen had such a rich broth. But the real stars of the show (for me) were the hibachi steak and shrimp with that delicious rice and vegetables, and let me tell you about those crab rangoons! Honestly, they are the best I’ve ever had. You’ll catch me, my wife and sometimes a few friends there on Thursday evenings because we’ve made it a weekly “must do”. This is also a family owned and operated and it shows everyone we’re greeted with warm smiles and a friendly hello. This is not your dinner and a show style hibachi and seating is limited as they are geared more towards takeout. I’ve been raving about this place to my friends and the post game reports are all the same “we loved it”. Be sure to tell Sebastian, Kim and Kevin that Tommy and Dana says hello and we will see them Thursday!

Hibachi chicken & steak combination: steak and chicken was cooked perfectly. Steak was very flavorful.
Beef pho: it was very delicious. Prob best I’ve had on this side of town.
Portions were great. Toddler and parents were able to eat until full.
Love that every order is prepared to go even if you choose to dine in. Will be back for some pho.

We ate here the first time last night and loved it! My husband got the steak and shrimp hibachi dinner with fried rice and I got the Tonkotsu Ramen. The food is delicious and portions are large.
