When I pulled into the parking lot at Rural King I noticed how extremely busy this little diner was. Once I had completed my shopping I thought I would try it out. The line at the drive-thru was steel long 10 to 15 minutes before I could even put my order in, yet it was worth the wait.
The servings are huge, it was reasonably priced, and it was all so good!

One of our favorite places!! I’ve been going here for many years. The service is always wonderful and so is the food. It’s always fresh and very hot. Although I wish they’d change their to-go containers because the food is always so hot we’ve had food melt through before. Anytime there’s been an issue with the food, which is extremely rare, they’re always quick to fix it. If you’re doing take-out, I’d suggest calling ahead during their busy times. You get a lot of food for a great deal! I love that my family of 3 can still eat for about $23 and my daughter gets 2 meals out of hers!

i used to eat in this place almost daily. But it seems that in the last 3 Times the owner and his cook were putting The burnt particlesfrom the frypan, on my food. I went back to exchange it, and the new food had rotten vegetables. My kid noticed the veggies were looking weird, by the time i noticed it was rotten broccoli and carrots, it was too late because my kid and i had already ate some, so we had food poison that evening.
I was wondering why the owner and his mexican cook was doing this to me and to my kid. I think it is because the owner got mad at the fact that his wife was being extra nice with me? and likes having conversations. It is not my fault the owner looks like an angry grandpa and that his wife who looks like a happy teenager girl, she likes talking with me alot. I just wanted Food. My kid and i spend the night in the hospital because of the rotten Food

Visited 5/11/21. Ordered chicken teriyaki and a side of mixed veggies. As stated in a few other reviews… The chicken was pretty dry, like it was either old or overcooked. The sauce they give you with it is thinner then water and the rice was just bland. The mixed veggies were decent and the only part of the meal I actually ate all of. The credit card upcharge is BS… Who uses cash during a viral pandemic lol. Seems like its just a way to make back some money from being closed. Sometimes when I have a bad experience, I will go again then update my review if the experience is better. I honestly dont think it would be worth my time here. We need a panda express in morganton!

This is not authentic Japanese. The spring rolls tasted like they were cooked with onion rings but were tasty. The hibachi chicken on noodles were super sweet without sauce. The vegetable side was carrots. They too were sickeningly sweet and probably from a can.
