Unbeatable flavour, the best wagyu sandwich we have ever tried, despite we have tried plenty of places around the world. The meat is so juicy and tender and the herbs and spices give a special kick and takes your sensation in a journey to Japan. The owners are nice and we found out that it is a family business for a lovely couple, which is great. The chef (the husband) is passionate about his work and dedicated to providing best quality. He told us they bring a local breed from a specific supplier to ensure quality. They also prepare everything in house, including the bread that is crunchy and adds to the experience. I highly recommend this place!

This is so far the best sandwich place I‘ve been to. The beef is crispy on the outside (katsu), but so tender on the inside. Sauces fit together very nicely and complement the beef and the fresh bread. Portion is very fulfilling!
Potato pops were tasty as well.
The homemade green ice tea is just unbelievably great, make sure to try it.
Service is great, the place is very cozy. Keep in mind that it only operates during the weekend

I went regularly to their first location in Wandsbek. I can say their quality didn’t diminish at all moving to the City Center and there is way more seats now. They offer Japanese style sandwiches that are always delicious and fresh. They have from more basic ingredients to more fancy meats. Their spicy sauce selection is also quite tasty. Finally they have sandwiches with egg and tofu for veggies. I can always recommend them.

Stopped there for Lunch today and will definetily be back! Very friendly Staff, delicious Sandwich, could not have been happier.
What stood out for me was a surprisingly low Salt content that you usually don’t get in Restaurants, but is really amazing to actually Taste the delicious Ensembles inside the Sandwich. Also nice nori Fries on the side!

I ordered cheese wagyu katzu sandwich and 2 croffle(croassant +waffle)! Wagyu katzu was amazing and it was so juicy and delicious! Its first time see croffle in hamburg and it was chewy and crispy!!! I would like to try other dessert!! Im glad that its Japanese own restaurant It’s 100% recommend to visit and i would visit again lots!!

I finally tried the sandwiches and I was not impressed. It took 40 minutes to make the sandwiches which I don’t understand because it’s cold ingredients getting assembled. If you know you’re going to sell out why not pre make things?
Generally there was too much yuzu flavor in any of the sandwiches I tried so that it was overpowering for the rest of the components. The general atmosphere of the place was rather hectic and confusing as I wasn’t sure where to wait and where the menu is.
I definitely recommend pre ordering and picking up the food!

Super friendly owner couple. The quality and taste of the food is really great and very close to those original flavors from Japan. Waiting times bit long, but totally fine (you can have a gratis tea during waiting). Also bit pricey, but all is handmade.
