Dope Gem and i highly recommend!
Grunge and rock its definitely a vibe.
Perfect spot for a casual meal, especially if you’re in the area before a show.
The atmosphere are decor was a total vibe playlist was great. The food was full of flavour and great portions even my fussy kids were impressed.
Then there’s the tom kha soup. I enjoy galangal. I respect galangal. But this had so much galangal in it that I briefly wondered if I was chewing landscaping. I didn’t order soup so much as a small herbal forestry experience.
The place currently has an “A” rating, which feels optimistic. I don’t want to ruin anyone’s business, but someone should gently pull them aside and say: the food needs help. Sure, plenty of people like it. Plenty of people also think ketchup is spicy. This is not refined Thai cooking. It’s enthusiastic, but confused.
Important PSA: despite thoughtfully listing baked tofu, there is only one fryer. One. So the fried tofu is swimming with everything else. If you care about dietary separation or clean flavor, this is not your moment.
Now, credit where it’s due. The space is great. Very cool to walk into. The staff is genuinely lovely. I can absolutely see how this place crushes delivery orders. But dining in is where illusions go to die, and unfortunately the food just doesn’t hold up.
Great vibe. Nice people. A beautiful room. Vegetables doing their best. But the cooking needs a serious intervention.
