When you go out of your way to create the world’s tastiest sandwiches, people tend to go out of their way to get their hands on them. And it’s been like this since we opened the doors of the first TOGO’S in San Jose, California back in 1971. We made the meatiest, most delectable sandwiches around. And people formed lines out the door, anxiously awaiting their turn for taste bud nirvana. Today, people still go above and beyond to get our sandwiches. Because for many, you can never go too far for a TOGO.

Normally I order food in store and it’s always great. This time I decided to order ahead online so I wouldn’t have to wait. Big mistake. The individual that made our sandwiches put excessive amounts of mustard on all the sandwiches I ordered, some weren’t supposed to have any. they put peppers on all the sandwiches instead of just the ones I wanted it on, so my kids complained about burning their mouths not knowing the sandwiches had peppers and 1 of my hot pastrami sandwiches, was raw So I am giving our smashed sandwiches that were made incorrectly a “0”

Food was okay but there were dead ants everywhere…. that’s pretty disgusting. Didn’t notice till after i finished my food. There is also a ton of dust. Clearly they don’t clean well. Who even knows about the back…

Best pastrami & Swiss in the area. The #16 Italian is also outstanding. All bread choices are fresh & tasty. They don’t skimp like so many competitors do. The gal that builds my sandwiches knows how I like ’em. Prices very competitive.

Togo’s used to put a lot of meat in their sandwiches but that may have changed. Ordered 2 regular subs, no. 8 and a spinach wrap chicken (wrap was charged as a regular). Was $25+. The meat in both was very slim, ate mostly bread and veggies. $25 is a lot for two simple sandwiches. The girl making the sandwiches was busy and the other girls there just stood and watched the first girl make both the sandwiches. There was no one inside at the time. I’m probably going to put the brakes on Togo’s for a while.

I love Togo’s, and I have for 30 years. I was so excited when they came to town. The food is so fresh, so delicious, and you definitely get what you pay for. This location had a rocky start, but things smoothed out over several months. Now the staff is professional, efficient, friendly, and courteous even when I skate through the door at 7:58. They are all really great kids. I only wish they were open until 9 or 10 during the summer!

We order on doordash for Togo’s. This place always seems to disappoint me. EVERYTIME I order my sandwich not my families, but my sandwich is 95% wrong. I ordered a Chicken Bacon Ranch wrap and asked for no lettuce and added chips. I did not receive the chips AGAIN, and of course it came with lettuce. There was so much ranch dressing it was like soup. My wrap was falling apart.

As per a similar review, the #9 I always enjoy at other Togo’s seemed to have about 2/3’s the pastrami as it usually has. Not sure if this is a store portion or if all Togo’s has changed their portions.

I orderd a tuna and a hot pastrami. The tuna sandwich was dripping soggy bread it completely fell apart. The hot pastrami was cold and mostly fat on the meat horrible quality of meat. I will never go here agein and i suggest you drive past it as well this place is not good at all i wish i can get my money back spend it on some actual edible food
