Ordered through door dash so it was quite pricey but well worth it. This was my first Indian food experience. I ordered the Chicken Coconut (medium spice) and Garlic Naan. Rice was cooked to perfection, Chicken Coconut (madras style) sauce was rich, creamy, well spiced/seasoned, Chicken was well cooked and in nice sized pieces, Garlic Naan was so yummy! Very pleasant first experience with Indian food. Quite delicious! I’m sure my choices would be considered safe as a first venture into Indian cuisine but I highly recommend it. The medium spice level could have been slightly spicier for my pallet but was afraid the hot spice level would be too much.

I gave 5 stars to service because I got my food from Uber eats, it was made fast, arrived fast, and was piping hot still. They used great containers so service was great. Although no utinsels were given I had a plastic fork at work. 5 stars for atmosphere because I had it delivered there would be reason to give a lower score. As for the food it was the worst Indian I’ve had in Louisville, and I’ve eaten at most all of them over the years. Without posting names of competition the Indian restaurant on north Hurstbourne is the best for reference. Food was hot, but flavor was subpar. It taste edible but not good. The Chicken Tikka masala was so coconut flavored it was like a candy, and I ordered the 2 highest spice level and it wasn’t spicy at all. Having never ordered here I know from the past that spice can elevate bad foods flavor where mild can expose the badness of it. The Chicken was good and as expected. The goat curry was also not good bland and not spicy. I have also ordered it very spicy. The Goat was great and soft just unflaverful. The garlic naan bread was browned on the bottom but still seamed a little raw, it wasn’t but very soft and thick like a thick pancake. The flavor was very garlicy since the garlic on top was still raw which may not of been that bad if the bread was cooked more. This reminded me of Mexican cooks hired to cook Chinese food at the Chinese buffet! They’re not as good as a Chinese restaurant with Chinese cook having been handed down how to cook from generations of people doing it to the best of their ability. This is a thing my best friend wouldn’t tell me the secret of his family’s restaurants fried rice for 10 years because like he said it’s a family secret and what are you going to do with the info after you get it? You have no restaurant stove and wok, and can’t do it the same at home anyways! This was a very true statement, but he did finally tell me; But back to the review. If desperate for Indian food, and this is the only place open get Indian food another day and pick something else! If you can’t do the staples well the odds of anything else being good it’s well good.

I’ve had this food at least twice per month in the past year and have NEVER been disappointed!
Saag Paneer, biryani’s, momos, Tika masala, all of it is amazing!
Every dish is superbly fragrant and tasty and very filling. I’ve only had it delivered but will be eating here for as long as they’re serving the delicious food!

I always order from Togoindia and keep on coming back. The staff are really nice and the food is the best. It’s a nice environment. I love this place and recommend it to anyone else that wants to try something new. It’s cheap and food is way more delicious than I thought .

Just experienced Chef Binod Gautam’s delightful dishes because of a coupon. So glad we did! Especially enjoyed the biryani! But everything we ordered was delicious. Tried the lamb vindaloo at his suggestion. It was stellar. Try this place. It’s a little hard to find—go inside the grocery and walk to the back on the right. We will be back soon—with or without a coupon!

Excellent food. I had Tikka Masala with Lamb. Phenomenal! Will be my GoTo place for ToGo Indian from now on!

The location can be inconspicuous to someone who has never been there. The restaurant is located in the back of the Indian Market at the Buechel Station Shopping Center.

It is a ToGo restaurant, so the atmosphere is not great. I gave the atmosphere 3 Stars only so that YOU know what to expect. I have no issues with it.

There is seating if you wish to stay. What it lacks in atmosphere, is made up in the quality and value of the food they provide. It is exceptional.

This will be my new to go place for Indian food in Louisville. Absolutely loved their spicy chicken biryani and their curry is delicious as well. I talked to the owner and he was very humble respectful person as well as the staff working inside.

Found this place by accident as Dakshin closed early and man am I glad for that. A sign of a good Indian restaurant is their biriyani and the biriyani here is one of the best if not the best I have had in Louisville.
The chili momo was amazing and got the dry lamb dish to go which I couldn’t stop eating later in the evening.
Small place inside a grocery store run by Vinod the chef and his assistant.
Also had the mango Lassi and my friend had the samosas and everything was delicious.
The menu is a bit smaller than other Indian restaurants but the taste of the dishes more than made up for that. Plus the prices are about 10% less than other places. Highly recommend..

We had take out and it was fabulous!!! Not to mention it was in an Indian grocery store. It was cool to shop around while we waited for our food. They are kind as well as good at what they do…which makes it taste that much better in my book!
