Jabari and his one teammate were exceptional! He was able to take our specific order efficiently and our food was fresh and arrived to our table quickly. He came around to make sure that we were well taken care of and we were. He’s an exceptional young man and very proactive! We appreciate the consistent great service my husband and I receive at this McDonough Location over the years.

Kitchen staff argued while I waited on my food to go. Kid behind the counter. Maybe early 20s was more interested in his phone than actually figuring out what i wanted to order. Didn’t even look up from his phone to hand me a receipt. Worst service I think I have received. Other patrons were talking about how at other McAlisters they receive great service and great food. This one is definitely leaving you wanting for more. This is both sad and pathetic.

I will never be returning to this location again. I used to be a regular because the food is good, but the way this place is managed is absolutely ridiculous.
Every single time I walk in, the manager Wendy is yelling at employees from across the store instead of actually helping them. It’s constant shouting and barking orders while the staff is clearly overwhelmed. During the lunch rush, when customers are waiting and the team needs help the most, she’s standing there antagonizing them instead of stepping in and doing the work herself.
On my last visit I happened to glance into the kitchen area by the register and what I saw was shocking. Instead of supporting her team, she was arguing with them and creating an incredibly uncomfortable environment. It honestly made the whole place feel tense and unprofessional.
I feel bad for the employees who have to deal with that kind of management every day. The food might be good, but the atmosphere created by the manager completely ruins the experience. Management like this is unacceptable.

On this night the young man lied about what was available, did not give us dressing and gave me soup instead of salad. All this while complaining that the manager does nothing but nag at him. Why is he working there? Usually have the greatest service. Not tonight. Not returning.

Nothing about this visit was pleasant! I have nothing against the Lgbt community but if you hire a guy who talks too low and acting like he rather be at home in bed than taking my order. I ordered a chef salad it was like pulling teeth when asking questions about the menu. He irritated me just by talking customer service starts with the first person you encounter at the register. He wasn’t freindly he couldn’t pronounce words on the menu and him leaning on the counter irritated me. My salad was not good, the croutons were placed on the salad and was soft and soggy, hardly any chicken on the salad, i asked him questions about desserts because I wanted to know how big the carrot cake was he said a slice. I will go to the Fayetteville location because they have great customer service and offers samples

Soraya is simply amazing. Her engagement and energy as the cashier is incredible. 6:30p on a Sunday night and patient as ever. This is my first time ever at a McAlister’s and I’m sold. If the food is anything like the service we received today then we will definitely be a returning customer. Management please share this with Soraya

We visited on MLK Day and knew we wanted to dine in. After placing our order, we were told they couldn’t process our gift card as the system was down. That’s two visits in a row this happened. Got my order, the potato was wrong but Wendy came over, introduced herself and fixed the potato. It was also extremely cold in the restaurant and I was told the thermostat set on 66 degrees. Yea, that’s ridiculous. Wendy promised that she will fix a lot of the concerns this location has. I’ll be back as I’m holding her to her word. I’m rooting for you Wendy!

So I don’t know if they have new management or just the right crew… I have never had an experience at any location where my service was amazing! Nyresha, my cashier, was happy to help and had great service! Mrs. Tonya was funny and made our food in under 15 minutes!! There was another lady there who was also very friendly and wanted us to come back! Needless to say, we will certainly be back, and we hope this crew is there!!!
