First time here today. I heard they had great fried chicken livers. I tried them today and they were amazing! Perfectly tender inside and crunchy outside. They were seasoned perfectly as well. The Mac and cheese was good and well. It was very flavorful. I’ll be back for sure.

NOT Recommended. Ordered 2 meals to go, both meals wrong. Mac & Cheese and Mashed Potatoes tasted like made from a cheap box brand. Ordered 3 legs, got tenders instead. Biscuits and Chicken Tenders had a funny taste. Chicken tasted as if cooked in cheap or old grease. Paid almost $29 for a meal which we threw 1/3 away. Additionally, had to wait 25 minutes for the food. We won’t be back.

This is my favorite place to come and get salt and pepper catfish. The staff is always very friendly and the environment of the diner is adorable old country. If you’ve never had corn nuggets, this is the place to try them! Aside from the corn nuggets, they have the best potato wedges you will ever eat. They’re super flaky and buttery. You must visit here!

We couldn’t decide between chicken and fish, so we got both! It was delicious–freshly fried with tasty crispy batter. The catfish was moist and even the white meat chicken was juicy. We got potato wedges, green beans, and okra for sides, but they weren’t as special as the chicken and fish. The prices were very reasonable too. The fish platter was overflowing!

The pinto beans were ok, but they were a little soupy for my taste. The Greens were ok. The Mac n Cheese was a little loose, but still pretty good. The potato salad was hands down the best potato salad that I have EVER had. I haven’t had white grave that good since my grandparents passed away. What a treat. The fried chicken was very good also. Not greasy. Not caked in too much batter. Almost perfect. The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is that they didn’t send any utensils with my order. We used Door Dash and luckily we were able to dig up some plastic sporks. I will order again for sure! You guys should package up that potato salad and sell it in supermarkets. Seriously.
